There was a shooting next door as we ate in an unsafe area. The owner of the restaurant got into a full blown fist fight, and assaulted the customer. The tour guide was a bully who refused to come at the agreed pickup time even after I changed my original reservation to another day to serve his request for me to change. The major monument sites you see are at a distance, so there’s no point in paying for this tour. And the time in between is filled with common knowledge Black history facts or telling us what “used to be a car dealership.” It’s overpriced and a disappointment of a tour.

Wow!!! I am still dreaming of the food and truly enjoyed the tour.. We have been here before and wanting to see DC from another perspective was great. Our guild was knowledgeable and fun to tour with. He communicated with us to be sure everything went smoothly.. Kenny understood our physical limitations and adapted to them. Great evening.
PS. You really need to try those Brussel sprout's

Very unreliable tour provider who did not show up at the time of the meeting and did not even take the time of informing the group because it was the Super Bowl.

This was an excellent tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore different areas of DC and learn about the history, experiences and contributions of African Americans to DC. Kenny was very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions if we had questions. I learned a lot of history that I was not aware of as well as about the political and government situation of DC over the years. If you are visiting the DC area, try KB Tours for a great sightseeing experience.

Kenny the tour guide was very informative the entire tour. The guide gave eye-opening information about the history of America from a more granular point of view. I would definitely recommend this tour. I hope to do it again.

The tour guide had a wealth of information about the city. The Lincoln Memorial “surprise” rocked my family’s world in a good way. The finale’ at the museum was for sure the highlight of the tour!!!!!!!!
