To begin with, they fulfilled everything promised, the guide was extremely friendly and competent, he made stops along the way to tell us about some historical site or simply so that we could contemplate the beautiful landscape that unfolded before us. The castle is worth seeing inside, I recommend taking one of the guided tours offered. They are not always available, it depends a lot on the date. Our guide, Richard, was also attentive about the food since I am a vegetarian... he chose a place with several options and an affordable price. The return trip by train flies by. In short, it is a beautiful experience, we highly recommend it!!

Our bike ride with Richard was excellent. We were in a group of 5 and the pace was suited to our age and experience. Knowledge and local insights of our guide were interesting and engaging.

Guide Richard was very Knowledgeable and managed a group of 11 bikers with various Levels of biking skills Lunch (and beer) was great and he knew the rest stops. The biking is a variety of city, bike trails, and a short distance of mud and gravel. The bikes were fine; we rode e-bikes (first time ever) and would recommend them to anyone who is not reasonably comfortable riding a standard bike for 38 kilometers. Terrain was flat; the walk up to the Castle was on foot.

Mica and Carlos were great guides and very knowledgeable about the history of the area! The bikes were easy to use and helpful to zip up the hills along the beautiful rivers we followed! It was such an awesome and amazing day!! Great way to see many places outside of Prague!

Richard was the best possible guide! He’s a renaissance man & cyclist! His knowledge is boundless and it made for a great day of tiding from Prague to the castle for both my wife and myself! His English is superb, courtesy of a first class college education in Melbourne, Australia, but he’s a Czech by birth and marriage. Best e-bike trip we could imagine! Praha Bike & Richard are amazing! Take this trip to see life and the countryside outside Prague!

Despite the rain showers this was a pleasant day away from Prague city with a friendly knowledgeable guide who pointed things out on the way and was happy to answer questions. Helmets, body warmers and gloves provided free to anyone who needed them as was water. It was an easy ride mostly alongside the rivers. Lunch st Karlsteyn was good and prepared us for the uphill walk to the castle which was worth it for the architecture and views. The train ride on the way back added another dimension to an enjoyable day. The only downside for a few people was that the extra waterproofs had seen better days as some were ripped or the fasteners didn’t work.

We had a wonderful guided bike ride to Karlstejn Castle with Praha Bikes, our guide provided lots of information along the way and was great about stopping whenever we wanted to take photos...although we are seniors and hadn't been on bikes for a while we thoroughly enjoyed the ride and are so glad we did this...
This is a great way to see the countryside, spend some time in forests and by the river and to visit yet another picturesque village in the Czech Republic...highly recommended!
Next time we visit Prague we'll sign up to do another one of their country bike tours, it was one of the highlights of our 6 day trip there...

We had a wonderful tour around Praque, to karlstejn Castle. The tour guide told about all the special things in Prague and the Castle. Also drinkend some good tjechisch bier, I recommend doing it again but than with The bikes with fat tire. And protect yourself when it's sunny because i burned 🌞

Our first “countryside” bike tour among many visits to Europe and now I think we will do it in most cities we visit in the future. The vistas and countryside that this bike trip takes you through were amazing. Parks and rivers and rolling hills. We kept pinching ourselves. Marek was a great guide and was knowledgeable and patient with our group of 10. This is a “substantial” day bike trip that’s a little over 22 miles. Took about 3 hours to get there. We chose the e bike which I would recommend. There are a few hills that would were a workout for our cyclists. You take the train back.
