1. Acropolis
This private tour will take you to all the must-see sights of Athens. If you are visiting Athens for the first time, this tour provides an excellent introduction to one of the greatest cities of the ancient world. During your Acropolis visit (approx. 2 hrs) you will see:- Propylaea, - The Parthenon - Erechtheion - The Temple of Athena Nike,Looking down from the Acropolis you'll see the two ancient theaters in its shadow:- The Theater of Dionysus , the oldest Greek theater (built in the 5th century BC), - Odeon of Herod Atticus, erected in AD 161. The site hosts performances for the summer Athens Festival
2. Temple of Olympian Zeus
The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus, is a former colossal temple at the center of the Greece capital Athens. It was dedicated to "Olympian" Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC during the rule of the Athenian tyrants, who envisaged building the greatest temple in the ancient world, but it was not completed until the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD, some 638 years after the project had begun. During the Roman period the temple -that included 104 colossal columns- was renowned as the largest temple in Greece and housed one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world.
3. Panathenaic Stadium
The Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. One of the main historic attractions of Athens,it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble.A stadium was built on the site of a simple racecourse by the Athenian statesman Lykourgos (Lycurgus) c. 330 BC, primarily for the Panathenaic Games.The stadium was excavated in 1869 and hosted the Zappas Olympics in 1870 and 1875. After being refurbished, it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the first modern Olympics in 1896. It was used for various purposes in the 20th century and was once again used as an Olympic venue in 2004. It is the finishing point for the annual Athens Classic Marathon.It is also the last venue in Greece from where the Olympic flame handover ceremony to the host nation takes place.
4. Mount Lycabettus
Lycabettus hill also known as Lycabettos, Lykabettos or Lykavittos is a Cretaceous limestone hill in Athens, Greece at 300 meters (908 feet) above sea level. Pine trees cover its base, and at its two peaks are the 19th century Chapel of St. George, a theatre, and a restaurant.
5. Changing of the Guard Ceremony
One of the most unique experiences is the changing of the guards in Athens. The presidential guards or Evzones, guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Hellenic Parliament building around the clock, through the coldest winter night or hottest summer day. Evzones are an elite unit of the Greek army and it is a very high honour for a Greek guard to be selected as an Evzone
6. Arch of Hadrian
The Arch of Hadrian, most commonly known in Greek as Hadrian's Gate, is a monumental gateway resembling – in some respects – a Roman triumphal arch. It has been proposed that the arch was built to celebrate the adventus (arrival) of the Roman Emperor Hadrian and to honor him for his many benefactions to the city.There were two inscriptions on the arch, facing in opposite directions, naming both Theseus and Hadrian as founders of Athens
7. Acropolis Museum

We did the 1/2 day tour with our family during our port day for a cruise. We have a 10 and 8 year old boy. Vasilis was our driver - he was kind, knowledgeable and took us to all the popular sites. He also brought us fresh baked bakery items after our tour of the Acropolis - so nice and so yummy! He kept us safe, was a great driver and told us all the history and inside knowledge. I highly recommend this tour for anyone - families, couples or groups.

We only have half day in Athens before we went to the port for cruise. This tour was a perfect choice to have a sightseeing around the city and the museum, the driver was very polite and he was punctual at every meeting point. We're sincerely appreciate for his help.

Our tour guide (driver) John went out of his way to to make our time with this tour exceptional and personal. He was very flexible and kind and showed us parts of Athens the normal tourist wouldn't see. He even took us to a local fast food eatery where all the drivers eat for a great, low cost lunch. What a wonderful guy who left us with memories of Athens we will treasure forever.

Our guide for the day was Sylvia—having someone like her is the only way to see Athens! She was energetic, enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable about the history, architecture, politics, and culture of Greece over the millennia. Just an amazing experience thanks to her. We really highly recommend seeing this amazing city with her or someone like her.

We took the tour on Sunday Nov 5th. It turned out to be a free day at the Acropolis. The crowds were crazy so we chose to skip it and go on our own the next day (turned out to be a great decision). Our driver Loukas tried to take us to Zeus' temple but there was a protest going on in the city center so he took us to see the Greek Rivera. There was an air show going on at the time. Overall the tour didn't go at all as planned but Loukas did a great job of changing things up as the day went on. We did get to Zeus and some other sites. With travel you just have to roll with it.

Our driver was excellent (I’m so sorry I forgot his name but he used to be a palace guard) he was so informative about everywhere we went and worked really hard to make sure we got to putt final destination on time. I would definitely recommend this company.

George was our driver and he was fantastic! They initially told us that the driver may not be knowledgeable and suggested adding a tour guide for €200. We didn’t and we lucked out. George was smart, friendly, flexible, knew how to time the tour so that we hit a lot of highlights in 5 hours, and was flexible. If you’re looking for a quick overview of the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Olympic stadium, and a couple of other quick stops, this is a great choice.

We even saw the changing of the guard at Parliament because he timed it so well.
