The best part of this tour was our very experienced guide, Nezha Sebti. She was amazing. I learned so much about the history of Casablanca. Following her through the Habous was so fun, she helped me talk with people about what they were selling and they asked me questions. This was not a touristy area all the time. I felt like I was seeing real people living their real lives. I was given all kinds of samples of great food / no I never got sick. Everyone was so sweet and friendly. The music venue was closed because of Ramadan but Nezha showed me the place. It was fine because we were having so much fun. I could ask her anything about the culture, history, what people were doing I take lots of photos and she would ask for me if I could photograph someone. We went to the women’s bath house, a famous bakery and observed prayers in the street. So I guess my favorite things were people, food, the fabulous market lanes and shops. Nezha showed me so much and helped understand so much. She was my introduction to Morocco. I’ll never forget her.

I had the chance to go to Dar El Ala while there was a concert playing and it was lovely! My guide also explained everything related to Moroccan Andalusian music and we then toured around the Habbous. I highly recommend this tour if you enjoy music and would like to wander around the city
