The Jewish community of Vienna is a culture rich in history and goes back hundreds of years— from the first Jewish person in Austria, Salomon also known as Schlom, to the artists, doctors and scientists who shaped Viennese culture in 1900, to the Holocaust, to the present-day Jewish community in Vienna.
Our Jewish Walking Tour emphasizes the intellectual, cultural and artistic flowerings of this remarkable community, as well as the dark periods wherein this community was banished from Vienna.

Very thorough and thoughtful. We really learned the history in an organized way. Questions were encouraged and modern day discussions were stimulating. The professor was outstanding!

WOW! We had an amazing tour with Lisa! What made our tour superb is the energy and knowledge of our tour guide. She was very energetic, knowledgeable, personal and dynamic. We learned so much! We had 3 kids with us and they were in AWE of Lisa and her tour guide skills. We could not recommend this tour more! Lisa is a GEM!

My family and I went on a short trip to Vienna & Hungary a few days ago. We decided to book the Jewish walking tour of Vienna.
We are Jewish AND from Vienna originally (back in the day) and I wanted my children to get a glimpse of our heritage. Our guide was Christopher- he was wonderful and very knowledgeable!

She sent a young man named Christopher
He was a good “city guide but not a “Jewish” walking tour guide
The trip was expensive and described very differently from the experience!

We really enjoyed our tour of Vienna with our guide Hernando. He was very personable, and very knowledgeable about the history of the city - both the Jewish history and more. I would definitely recommend this tour!

This tour was awesome. Elizabeth took great care of us on this personally trailered tour. We even saw some of the traditional stuff, but the nuggets of Jewish history there was amazing. Highly recommend
