This tour is dedicated to those who love discovery and photography. We will visit the most enchanting spots of the Lofoten and it's striking and unforgettable winter lights.
During our photography tour we ill stop on the Atlantic side, the wildest , where nature shows its purest and untamed side. Gimsøya, the wild side; Eggum and its colorful houses; Haukland and its white sand, Unstad, the surfers' paradise: these are are just some of the beauties that these islands offer. But the islands are also fishing hamlets full of colors surrounded by corners which make these islands a paradise for photographers. Kabelvåg and Henningsvær with their fishermen’s houses, wooden racks, fishing boats, historical buildings are just some of these historical sites that, together with the beauty of nature and the power of the Arctic lights will capture your imagination.
We run this special photography tour in small groups, maximum 8 per group, to ensure an unique and customized experience.

Our experience with the Lofoten Lights tour operator was wonderful because they do not present themselves as tour operators but as friends.
Maurizio accompanied us through the villages, telling us about the life of these wonderful islands and with his great kindness he truly made us feel part of them.
We were also lucky enough to meet Claudia, a person of incredible sensitivity who masks her great inner strength with her sweetness.
The staff is fantastic, we had contact with Eleonora who advised us in preparing the trip and collaborated to resolve logistics such as ferry tickets.
Thanks again to all of them, we plan to return to see our "friends" again.

Maurizio is a great guide. He gave us good advice to see nice spots, eat best sweets ever and he is a nice company during bus trip explaining lots of interesting things about Norwey life. Don't loose opportunities to travel with him!

Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to places with picturesque view, which looked like it came out of the pages of a travel magazine. Today, the weather was perfect to explore each of these locations. We had such a great time. ☺️

Our guide Andreas was very knowledgable and took us to gorgeous locals. I mentioned to him about a particular photo look I wanted to take and he found the local for me to take the photo. His insights and suggestions made our tour memorable.

We were both picked up and dropped off at our accommodation which was a great bonus of this tour. Our guide was the delightful Nicoletta whose company and knowledge we very much enjoyed. It turned out that we were the only two people on this tour so we very much had our own private tour! I booked this even though we are not photographers as it seemed it offered what I wanted, which was a scenic tour of the islands. The weather was not fabulous - lots of snow and hail on and off but this did not detract from the beauty of this place. We also saw Cormorant sitting on an old pier drying their wings, a couple of eagles soaring high above a fjord and some baby Ermine! We stopped to have hot chocolate and later at a coffee shop for coffee and cake. We even popped into a local shop selling beautiful hats and knitted items where we purchased a couple of momentos made from Alpaca wool. We loved our tour even though it had to be cut slightly short due to the weather Maurizio deducted some money from the cost to compensate. It was definitely a highlight of the trip. I would definitely recommend this company. I booked this before we left home after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor and I was not disappointed.
