My wife and I had the joy of experiencing the 3 hour winery tour by ourselves. Our tour guide, Aidan, was very knowledgeable and entertaining making the whole experience one we would highly recommend to anyone.

Our horse and cart driver was very good. A truly relaxing experience. Unfortunately the second winery let us taste so many wines we didn't have time for the second winery. The cheese and chocolate tasting was disappointing. Only two cheeses and a bit of chocolate. But the overall experience was great.

Nice escape from the city's chaos! Get to try different wines from various wineries! Our guide, Liam (if I recall correctly), was incredibly welcoming and warm, adding a friendly touch to the experience. The break from urban hustle made this getaway truly enjoyable.

We arrived at the meet area and our carriage was already waiting and ready to go. We were greeted by a handsome local called Liam and he introduced us to Banjo and Max (horses). We went to Pokolbin Estate, Tamburlaine and McGuigan. All 3 wine tasting has their unique set of experience but we really enjoyed our time at Pokolbin Estate. The wines there are slightly different than what you would find at other estates and they don't overwhelm you with choices. All their wines are good and reasonably priced. Liam gave us a bit of history of the estates and throughout the tour, he was very pleasant and ready to 'customise' the tour to our likings. The ride itself can be a bit rocky but apart from that, we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended activity while you're in the Hunter Valley.

What a great experience! Liam was very welcoming and knowledgeable and made the tour so much more enjoyable. Plus I got to drive for a little bit (lucky Max and Banjo knew the way). The tastings were personalised. I can recommend doing the 3 hour tour and I will book in again when I’m next in the Hunter. Thank you Liam and all the best for the upcoming birth of your bub.

We started the tour at 10 am visiting 3 vineyards namely Pokolbin vineyard and then followed by Tambourlaine and finally the Mc Guigan vineyard.
We did wine tasting at all three and also did a tour on the cheese factory at Mc Guigan. It’s a different tour to experience. Awesome for those who loved wines .
Thank you to Liam our carriage guide. Very patient young man . He definitely made our day ! Thanks once again. Look for Liam if you do like this experience when visiting Hunter Valley .

Absolutely loved our private winery tour, very pleasant & surprisingly comfortable in the carriage. Hayden was a great host who knew his horses & his stuff, the wineries, cheese & chocolate shops were a hit.
