We provide a continental breakfast, Famous HOT made-to-order lunch, snacks and beverages (road conditions permitting) we go "all the way around".

This tour is a gorgeous, winding coastal drive with 617 curves, 54 one-lane-bridges through breathtaking valleys, beautiful beaches, lush rainforests, spectacular waterfalls, desert-like landscapes, and remarkable cliffs.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Kahului
We arrive in Kahului after picking you up from your accommodations/meeting location. Located in the valley between the Kahalawai (the West Maui mountains) and Haleakala, Kahului is the most populated city on Maui and the commercial and financial hub. It is also the starting point for our tour.
2. Paia
Drive through the eclectic town of Paia an old plantation era town

World famous Ho`okipa Beach Park is a breath-taking white sand beach boasts perfect windsurfing conditions and windsurfers from around the globe travel here to challenge themselves against the ever-changing waves. Stop for photos on the overlook.
4. Huelo
The historic area of Huelo as it is adorned with vistas of bamboo, remarkable cliffs, and exceptional ocean views that certainly qualify as breathtaking. We stop to see the "painted forest" of beautiful rainbow eucalyptus trees.

Visiting the small community of Keanae will be like stepping into the past. Located on a peninsula which is an old lava flow, it is graced by Keanae Congregational Church, built in 1860 of lava rocks and coral mortar. Don’t miss an opportunity to feast on the best banana bread in the Hawaiian islands and possibly catch a view of the honu, Hawaiian sea turtles.

Aunty Sandy’s Banana Bread Stand Is a must stop destination for hot, fresh baked banana bread that was featured on Gordon Ramsay’s uncharted show “road to Hana” episode.
7. Pua'a Ka'a State Park
An idyllic area with two small scenic waterfalls and pools. Swimming opportunity.
8. Hanawi Falls
Hanawi Falls cascades 200 feet into a freshwater pool next to the Hanawi Falls Bridge completed in 1926.
9. Wai'anapanapa State Park
Experience Honokalani Beach, a gorgeous black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park. This magnificent beach is set among lava cliffs and the sand is actually small, smooth lava pebbles. A small sea arch, sea caves, and seaside lava tubes are located right on the beach. An ancient Hawaiian footpath leads to the beach area which appears like a vivid dream, with bright green jungle foliage on three sides and cobalt blue water lapping at its feet. Spectacular! Swimming opportunity.
10. Hana Bay
Hana Bay (Uakea), is a beautiful black sand beach, On any given day you’ll likely see local Hana outrigger canoe clubs practicing.
11. Koki Beach
At Koki Beach overlook, you will see a red hill (which is actually an eroding cinder cone) known as Ka Iwi o Pele, meaning “the bones of Pele”. From this vantage point, you can also get an excellent view directly offshore of `Alau Island, a seabird sanctuary with a 150-foot summit, topped by swaying coconut palms from the small red sand beach is a great photo stop.
12. Hana
We will stop at the tropical flowers of Maui to rest, use the bathrooms and a little shopping opportunity before getting back on the road.
13. Wailua Falls
Wailua Falls is an 80-foot cascading waterfall and plunge pool considered the most photographed beautiful waterfalls on Maui,

**CURRENTLY CLOSED BY NATIONAL PARK SERVICE** O`heo Gulch, also incorrectly known as “The Seven Sacred Pools”, is located in the Kipahulu area of Haleakala National Park. In reality, there are more like twenty-four pools. A one mile long loop trail goes down to the pools and ocean, then up and around, back to the parking area. NOTE: The National Park Service has closed access to the Pools indefinitely. Please see the NPS website. Weather, safety, timing and unexpected closure permitting.
15. Charles Lindbergh's Grave
Visit Charles A. Lindbergh’s grave. The famed aviator lived his last days on this lush Hana coast. Today, he lies at rest on the serene grounds of the Palapala Ho’omau Church in lovely Kipahulu. The adjacent limestone coral church was built in 1857. NOTE: This is an actual church which can be unavailable when a service is being conducted or the caretaker is not available. Weather, safety, timing and unexpected closure permitting.
16. Kipahulu
Kipahulu is a photographers paradise of rainforests, waterfalls, pools, mountain valleys and sweeping ocean views. We will make photo opportunities stops.
17. St. Joseph Church
St. Joseph Catholic Church one of Maui’s oldest churches was established in 1862 by the missionary Catholic priests served a thriving community of Native Hawaiians, ranchers, fishermen, and farmers.
18. Kaupo
Driving through the Kaupo district, with its rugged coastline, and unpaved roads you will think you are in the latest Indiana Jones adventure! We will make photo opportunities stops.
19. Kula
Kula district is a quaint, rustic area on the slopes of Haleakala, that stretches across the "up-country", from 500 m to 1,100 m (1,600 ft to 3,600 ft) in elevation of the western-facing slopes of Haleakalā, from Makawao to Ulupalakua. Kula’s most notable landmark, the brilliant white, octagonal Holy Ghost Church. A gift from the king and queen of Portugal to the island’s Portuguese plantation workers in 1894, it has been recently restored. Kula also offers the best views in Upcountry Maui, with sweeping views of Maui and the Pacific Ocean. This will be a bathroom stop and to take in the views.

Located on the rural northwest slope of Haleakala on Maui, the community is known for being the hub of the "Upcountry Maui", a part of the island dominated by mostly agriculture and ranch land. Makawao is an old, Paniolo town. A Paniolo is a Hawaiian Cowboy.
21. Kahului
Finally we have come full circle around Haleakala on our Road to Hana Tour. After an epic day, we now we return you to your hotel/condo or meeting location.
22. Maui
**Please note that all stops are weather, safety, timing, and unexpected closure permitting.

• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• Vehicles used on the road to Hana are not wheelchair accessible. Participants must be ambulatory. No walkers, wheelchairs and/or scooters, of any kind, are permitted.
• We require any children under the age of 6 years old (5 and under) be in a size-appropriate safety seat; ie, a car seat or booster seat. NOTE: not provided, PASSENGERS TO PROVIDE
• Anyone with heart, back problems, or other serious medical conditions cannot participate in the tour. Oxygen tanks, or generators are not permitted.
• Special needs requests (except lunch) must be called in to the local supplier at least 1 week prior to tour date. All special needs requests are handled and accommodated on a situational basis.
• We provide a continental breakfast (locally baked pastries in tropical flavors and fresh grown Maui fruits). There are no hot beverages served but you are welcome to bring your own in a to-go cup. Special lunch requests (including vegetarian requests) require a minimum of 48 hours notice.
• Tour schedule/stops are subject to change due to weather, traffic, park closures, road closures, timing and or other various unforeseen circumstances.
• No luggage of large bags. All bags must fit under seat.
• Absolutely no alcohol or drugs onboard. No drinking alcohol or doing drugs while on tour.
• Maximum weight for passenger is 325 lbs. (147 kg).

Larry was our guide & awesome driver! He was very informative. He has a terrific knowledge of the history of Maui & Hawaii and the plants native to Maui. He was very kind and told a few great "Dad jokes"....I would not recommend driving that road on your own..it was a pleasure to feel safe & be able to look at all the stunning views! We had a great time and appreciated it so much! Hopefully u get Larry as your driver and not the fella we transferred to to get us back to our condo. Charlie. Using his phone to show us videos of himself, while driving, discussing how he took down people in Iraq and took down a Russian green beret with a knife, while we had a guest who was Russian on our tour and he knew it. I get being all about energy and being proud of himself but he was over the top and inappropriate. We did not enjoy the last 40 minutes listening to him. You can have energy and be entertaining without talking about yourself the entire time. Or how about tone it down after a 10 hour tour. I would totally recommend this tour but maybe see who your driver is if you can.

Shame on you Charlie, as a so called senior driver, you should know better. Put your phone down and keep the more personal stuff personal!

Our driver, Kobi, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the entire area. He made the trip very enjoyable and relaxing. I would highly recommend this adventure if you’re looking for a smaller group.

This tour was perfect. Tour guide Coby was so good. He was knowledgeable, funny, a great driver. Food was so delicious . We had so much fun. I booked the best road to Hana tour for sure. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the best tour they have ever had.

Beautiful landscapes, including waterfalls, beaches, ocean views, and incredible flora! Road to Hana is well worth the time and expense. Small group made it nice getting in and out of the van. Our guide, Kobe, was funny and provided great commentary throughout the trip, as well as answering all questions. Snacks and plenty of ice cold water made available. Just a really nice day.

This tour is excellent. We had Kobie from Mahalo Tours and I would request him if we took this tour again. The sights you see are amazing and the knowledge to explain everything and then some. Overall excellent!

Lovely trip, a little too much driving for the amount of time spent near actual beautiful sights.
We were at 4 memorable points of interest (Black and red sand beaches, surfers beach, waterfall).
Super comfortable Van, there were 6 passengers, caring driver, excellent food.
It's a great tour, but was a bit tired as too much conversation in the van. Not a quiet moment.
Overall pleased, Good experience for the first timer.
