I’ve been on many food tours in European cities that I thought were good,, however none compare to Thomas’s! To go on a walk through the city with a native who is also a foodie - nothing better. Thomas gave us a guided walking tour while going from stop to stop - so much so that we didn’t need to book a tour of the city! The food at each stop was outstanding and we had the added bonus of Thomas sharing recipes with us. He also was mindful of the steep terrain and formatted his tour so the 90% was a downhill walk - that was much appreciated. I highly recommend this tour to all who go to Lisbon - its simply the best!

This food tour greatly exceeded our expectations in terms of food quality and quantity. Thomas provided a thoroughly enjoyable introduction to Lisbon's delightful streets with an engaging historical and contemporary stories on the way. We benefitted from his appreciation of top notch food venues and each had a special twist. I can't imagine a better way to begin our visit to Lisbon.

We had a great walking food tour with Thomas! He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. He not only knew a ton about food, but he also knew the history of many important buildings and neighborhoods in Lisbon, as well as influences from other countries (this extended to the food as well, of course.). You should definitely book this if you want an intimate food tasting of just your group of friends or family, set against breathtaking views of the city. Time flew, the beverages flowed, and the food was great!

We had a Wonderful experience with our guide Thomas! I have been on many food tours in many cities abroad and in the USA… I must express our delight with Thomas’s knowledge of the city (Lisbo) as well as, his culinary expertise in Portuguese and other Ethnic foods. We walked to many destinations in the old section of town and enjoyed hearing about the history along with interesting tastings of local foods, wines & beers and
delicious deserts! Most notable was his common sense in routing us to walk down hill to all of his excellent pics!!!
Thomas thoughtfully spent quality time showing us the city, never feeling rushed.

Thomas was an amazing guide! Personable, interesting and very fun. We enjoyed, beer, wine and port tasting as well as delicious pastries, cod, clams, samosas, cheese and sardines. He described the neighborhoods and sights. He took us to local spots we would not have found on our own. He also helped us with some dinner reservations for the remainder of our stay. Highly recommend doing this tour early in your visit and also a private tour (with Thomas) is well worth it. Treat yourself to a glorious day! Danilo was also very helpful in making the arrangements.

Outstanding food and wine tour! Really easy walking where all the food stops were carefully curated and intelligently organised taking you off the tourist trail and giving a “living in Lisbon” experience. Incredibly engaging and knowledgeable guide. Lisbon at its best.

Thomas was the absolute best guide and host. He was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, the culture and the overall history. His food choices were all wonderful! Only the best crossed our lips! The views were breathtaking. What a great way to get to know Lisbon. We would highly recommend Thomas and the Food and Wine walk with or without the libations!

This tour made me fall in love with Lisbon. The history, food, wine, and conversation were unbelievable. Thomas and Danilo were not only apt tour guides but also wonderful people to be around. The tour was expertly planned, starting at the top of a hill with a beautiful view and we worked our way downhill making the walk easy and enjoyable.
