The tour itself was ok. Was able to see the different birds. The beach was nice. They told us to be at our meeting point between 9:45am to 10 o’clock the day before so that’s what we got ready for. 30 minutes prior to meeting. They text us to be there between 9:30 AM and 945. So we almost missed our pick up. I had to chase the bus. When we got to the beach, there are no lockers so if you do decide to take the tour ,make sure that everything that is important to you can go in the water with you. The tour guide offered to hold items behind the bar while we were in the water then him and Probably one of the other staff went through the bags. I didn’t realize I was missing money until I got to my Airbnb. Luckily, I don’t carry all of my cash with me nor does my fiancé.

The tour destinations were perfect! Great to encounter nature and sightsee. The reason I am not giving it more stars is because 1) tour guide was 45 minutes late to pick up location and 2) he didn’t do anything other than count heads and take lunch orders (i.e no insight to Cartagena or destinations).
I was disappointed on this tour. Fortunately Cartagena has much jmore to offer and other sightseeing tours made up for this disappointment.

The beach portion of the trip was excellent. I had my own chair and table and server. It was excellent. The beach was not too busy. I was very pleased. The aviary was nice as well. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I requested an English speaking tour guide. My guide did speak English but majority of the group spoke Spanish so majority of the time he spoke Spanish. I understand Spanish for the most part but I really would have preferred only English

An excellent day is possible when you have an excellent staff, our guide Sergio, the aviary is a beautiful place and the lunch on the beach was great, highly recommend this experience.

Really great day, Mike was a fun host who spoke great English. The aviary itself is brilliant, saw a lot of toucans up close. The beach club has some bad reviews on here/Google but honestly it was quite nice, the meal was decent, the sea beautiful and the place was also fairly priced and had good staff. A great day out, we were worried about this due to a poor experience the day previous with another company for the "5 islands" tour but really it was like chalk and cheese - we loved today so much!

The aviary was a lot of fun. We went in the summer so it was very hot. Bring lots of water (there are several places to buy water if you forget). Lunch was good, and the beach was gorgeous. The only thing is that there were a lot of vendors that came up to try to sell us stuff when we were eating/trying to relax on the beach.

Best part was aviary and all the beautiful birds. bus old and outdated, very uncomfortable.. Restaurant seating was poor got harassed by vendors in restaurants non stop. Boats kept unloading passengers on beach front. Swimming with the sea doos was fun🤣

Our guide, Miguel, was an expert. He explained landmarks on the drive, shared information about the natural environment at the bird sanctuary, and ensured our enjoyment of a beautiful day at Baru beach. The food was good but the water and cocktails were incredible!

We did the day tour to the aviary and playa Blanca (“mambo beach”). The aviary is beautiful! And Miguel is the best tour guide!!!! He is fully bilingual and was able to communicate in both languages! We really enjoyed him! He is so friendly and kind. The food was really good. And playa Blanca is beautiful!!
