Great tour guides, the tequila tasting is excellent. You do just drive on a road out and back as well as through town. Nothing crazy or off the beaten path.

Fun and exciting ATV ride! The bridge is super long and scary, but seemed safe enough. Had a wonderful lunch afterward - great food and super service. Really a gorgeous property! Both our waiter and tequila tasting host, Diego B and Hector G, were the best! The only suggestion I have is to bring your bathing suit! A jump off the waterfall would have been great after all that dust! (One person in our group did it anyway and loved it!)

My wife and I just did the RZR ATV tour earlier today and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! It started out great with the transportation to their location. It was an open air bus that was so much fun. I believe the driver’s name may have been Salvador, but he said we could call him Teddy Bear so that’s what we remember for sure. He was a very jovial person which made it fun and he got us there safe. Alex and Polo were the guides for our tour. They were both very friendly and did an amazing job. We ate at the restaurant when we were done and the food was surprisingly fantastic. Much better than what I expected. As far as the actual tour the RZRs were in great shape. The views were amazing. Waterfall was so beautiful. Driving across the bridges was a bit scary but so cool. Well worth the money. Would recommend to any and everybody.

What a great day! We met our guides a short distance from the cruise port and then boarded an open-air bus to take us to the top of the mountain. The ride was fun and full of local flavor. The roads are narrow and passing other cars was a learned skill.
We were shown to our Polaris ATVs and got loaded up and off we went. The adventure was fun, a little dirty and wet but a blast! The views from the suspension bridges was amazing! Once we returned we opted to have lunch in their restaurant and the food was fresh and delicious. Our guides Alex and Danny were fabulous and our bus driver Javier was the best! I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for fun in Puerto Vallarta!-

I took the ATV tour to the Jorullo bridge. Had a wonderful day.
The pickup was easy, even though I inadvertently chose the pickup point farthest away from my resort. An open air "bus" (really a truck with comfortable bench seats in the back) takes you on a steep and winding ride up into the mountains past rural homes and some amazing views. From there you have time to visit a washroom and take a few pictures before your guides gather you and familiarize you with your ATV. The machines are on good shape and very simple to operate. They have multiple gears, but you can basically leave it in third gear for the entire trip. However, more experienced riders will want to take advantage of the ability to shift down on the steeper inclines for better climbing and to use engine braking on the descents.
I really like the approach to the trails, as the first 10 or 15 minutes are on nice gentle terrain allowing you to get a comfortable feel for the machine and trust its stability before you're required to tackle more challenging paths.
Your first stop is a smaller suspension bridge where you can walk out and take some pictures before driving across and back. Then you continue your climb up the mountains to a small Cantina right next to the main suspension bridge with amazing vistas and a chance for a refreshment. After that you'll drive your ATV across the incredible Jorullo bridge, taking your time at your own comfort level. From there it's a quick jaunt back to the starting point where you have an hour or more for a meal or just to relax before your transportation takes you back to Puerto Vallarta.
The food and drinks were just fine and cheaper than I expected. The professional photographs are extremely expensive. It's $20 US for a single printed photograph chosen from the ones they've taken during the day, or you can get all 15 or so on a flash drive for $60 US. Unfortunately, there is no email option for the photographs.
Don't be afraid to ask your guide to pause if you pass a particularly stunning place to take your own photograph.
You will likely have a different bus driver on your return, so be prepared to tip more than once if you so desire. The guides are excellent and I highly recommend tipping them after the ride as well. All of the staff in fact were fantastic for us. Our return driver even drove the extra 10 minutes right to our resort, because all of us destined for the final drop off point were staying at the same hotel. So rather than stop at the drop off point he took us right to the front gate. Excellent service.
A few sprinkles during the trip were refreshing and didn't cause a problem, and we seemed to hit The Sweet Spot where we had enough rain recently to keep the dust down, but it wasn't very muddy at all. I came back clean as a whistle.
I would definitely recommend this trip to any friends coming to Puerto Vallarta.

This tour was unforgettable! Geraldo, Oswaldo, and Miguel were amazing tour guides! We were a group of 9 women, and the guides made this experience so fun and exhilarating while also making sure we were safe. The stop at the waterfall was refreshing, everything we ate/drank at the restaurant was delicious (the blended drinks are served in coconuts!), and the tequila tasting was delightful. Even the shuttle ride to/from the meeting point felt like a mini adventure. Thank you so much to everyone at Canopy River! Thank you Ana for the photos! What a truly unique and exciting experience!

Highly recommend this tour! Rafael and Carlos made it so fun for us. Not only did we enjoy riding the ATVs (we were all beginners), but the stops to swim and have a drink were a nice touch. Afterward, we were amazed at how delicious the restaurant food and drinks were. Elote ice cream? Wow, it was surprisingly our favorite, but the mango and coconut were amazing as well. Our kids, who are in their twenties, managed to squeeze in the tequila tasting in 5 minutes and were impressed with the 6+ different types of Capony River's own tequila. Very well organized, and I can not recommend this tour enough!
