We were a party of 5 from Canada and booked a full day excursion of Cajon del Maipo from Santiago. We were picked up from our Airbnb early in the morning and started our day.
It was a bit of a ride and our bus was a bit cramped; however we were able to admire the beautiful scene along the way. Upon reaching, we were given some time to enjoy the hot springs; it was an awesome experience in the hot springs, surrounded by the towering mountains.
After our rejuvenating dip in the hot springs, we started our return drive to Santiago. On the way, we stopped by for a picnic provided by our friendly driver and guide George. We enjoyed the snacks, juice and wine provided. All in all, besides the car being crammed and uncomfortable, it was a rewarding experience.
We left with pleasant memories.
