My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. It was great to go around where the locals eat. Everything was well organized and structured. Each place was ready for us, and we had several choices. The guides (yes, we had 2 even though our tour only had 4 participants) were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Fun day that we really recommend! (We even went back to some of the venues the next day, including the churro stand.) Robin is very helpful beyond the scope of the tour too.

This tour was an incredible way to experience the world of Cabo beyond the scenic beaches and tourist traps. Our tour guide (Robin) provided tons of interesting information and tips about local restaurants and experiences even beyond the tour itself. All of the stops provided something truly unique with none being comparable to each other. We have visited Mexico and done food tours in the past but Robin’s tour was more authentic and unique than any other experience we’ve had. Booking this tour provides not only great food but an opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of the people who are making and eating it everyday.

We were the only people on the early tour, so it was a private and personal experience. Robin was very engaging and delightful tour guide. We had five stops on the tour, each one was delicious and Robin had the back story on each place, it was fascinating to get her take on each one. If you want a food tour this is THE one. Thank you so much, Robin!

We took the AvoCabo Food Tour - Taco Tour this past week. We've been coming to Cabo for close to 40 years and we haven't historically taken a lot of tours but this was absolutely wonderful. It was a excellent look at not only a variety of unique tacos (eating like the locals) but a look at the beautiful people the locals from Cabo are. Don't miss this, you will not be disappointed. Tell Robin Greg and Debbie sent you...her background story and real life experiences made the tour that much better.

We loved seeing the “local“ part of Cabo, tasting wonderful, homemade foods from family restaurants, and learning a bit more about the locale. Our particular lunch tour seemed a bit rushed, which was too bad since we had so much incredible food to digest. Even so, I recommend this tour.

The different types of tacos were thoroughly explored - guisadoes (try the cactus), birria (don’t forget to dip), pastor, carnitas, and mole. And to end it all - churros! Robin is the perfect guide and very knowledgeable about the food and the total Cabo experience.

My family of 4 had a wonderful taco excursion with Robin. She was so friendly, informative and loved her positive energy. She took us around a part of Cabo with some of the best tacos around. We tried birria, carnitas, squash blossoms, mole and shrimp tacos. We also sampled some ice cream and churros. Overall it was a great tour and highly recommend it. Great for kids too!

Everything about this trip was amazing, but mother nature kind of did her thing. The food we tasted were some of the best tacos that I have ever eaten. Our guide Robin was super nice and informative. She explained everything to us, the origins, the culture and made sure to stop at the best places to eat in Cabo. I can't wait to go back and do this again. Next time I'll do both the day/night to take full advantage of everything that I can.
