We were unable to travel via boats and instead had to take a bus. We were informed of this after we arrived to train station. The bus was late arriving to pick us up from train station so it cut into our time to eat and shop. Very disappointed that we weren’t able to boat hop because the boat hopping was the draw for this particular excursion. We should have been refunded a portion of our monies. However, our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal and made the trip very enjoyable!

This is a must. Was a long day but.was worth it.. the islands were amazing and the.visit to the lemon farm one a unique experience.

We never went on the tour. We were stuck in traffic and progress was slow due to construction in central Rome, but we still made it to the meeting spot. I sent several messages to the tour Director and that person never responded. I frequently updated our status as we got closer to the train station. We were 15 minutes late. The tour director never called or responded. We went to the meeting location and no one was there. We then frantically ran around the train station looking for the tour group but they left without us.
We scheduled four Viator tours that week spending almost two thousand dollars. The other three tours were excellent. It was very easy to communicate with the tour Director and we were very satisfied with the overall experiences.
This tour, however, was quite the opposite. If the tour Director would’ve contacted us, we would be able to still make the tour because we could see that the train had not yet left. It ruined that day in Rome for us. We were very much looking forward to the tour.
I believe a full refund is appropriate.

This trip was absolutely worth it to take off our navigator hats and just go with the flow of a day traveling between cities on boats & trains! A day trip from Rome to Amalfi & Positano without this guidance would’ve been draining and exhausting. Our guide, Eileen, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She impressively catered to a variety of needs and interests within our group. One thing I’d say to be aware of is “boat hopping” refers to crowded ferries, but the route is beautiful!

What an amazing day! Federico and his assistant Fabio got us where we needed to go! We were blessed with good weather- the hike up to the private lemon farm for a spectacular view and a limoncello was wonderful!

Really happy to have booked this tour! Took a few Italia Tours on our Italy trip and found out that they are very reliable with being on time and being organized. Was able to find their meeting point and get vouchers/tickets easily before the tour. Marco was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide! Ferry traffic wasn't bad so we were able to spend plenty of time in both Almafi and Positano. My husband and I decided to spend more time on the beach and shopping in Almafi instead of joining the lemon farm part of the tour, and enjoyed the quaint shops and cold limoncellos on the small and beautiful beach by the port. Positano was lovely too and Marco gave us lots of suggestions on how to enjoy exploring the vertical village pathways, shops and tasty food. Was a long day of travel but definitely worth it. A wonderfully memorable day and made us want to make plans to stay on the Almafi coast in the future. Thanks again for this tour!

Fantastic day! Highly recommend! View from lemon orchard and limoncello tasting well worth the climb! Flavia(guide) was warm and engaging and very knowledgeable. Great day trip from Rome.
