After your tour of Zakopane, take a break for some rest and relaxation in the thermal pools. Enjoy outdoor and indoor swimming pools, water slides, whirlpool baths and many other attractions in the heart of the mountains.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Chocholow
The first point on the trip is the historic wooden village in Chochołów is a great entry point for sightseeing. The village is famous for buildings that look quite identical, and the local tradition here is washing the walls of the buildings from the outside with water and soap two tips for the year. A few kilometers away are the so-called "Bacówka". They are also wooden buildings, however, much smaller. Highlanders - people living in this part of Poland are involved in obtaining milk from sheep, goats and cows. From raw material obtained is made of smoked cheese called "Oscypki". As part of the tour you will visit one of these places and you will be able to see with your own eyes how this cheese is prepared and you will be able to try it.
2. Zakopane
Visit Zakopane and Polish mountains. Experience a unique style of architecture, clothes, and food. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Polish mountains from the cable car. See the ski jumps of the World Championship. Visit the historic wooden village. Learn the secrets of the traditional production of smoked sheep cheese called "Oscypek" made only in these areas.
3. Gubalowka
At the end of the central street in Zakopane there is a cable car station. As part of the tour you will receive an individual ticket to the cable car that will take you to the top of the Gubałówka mountain. From the Gubałówka mountain, there is a wonderful view of the Polish Tatra Mountains. At the top of the mountain, there are numerous tourist attractions and souvenir shops.
4. Krupowki Street
The town of Zakopane is the capital of Polish mountains. Each year, this place attracts many tourists who want to experience the unique style of highlander culture, which is expressed through architecture, food, music, style of speech and clothing. In the town center there is "Krupówki" street, where you will be given time for independent exploration and possible lunch. This street is the market square of Zakopane and you can find here many good restaurants with local food as well as souvenir shops.
5. Chocholowskie Termy
After exploring Zakopane and the surrounding area, the driver will transport you to the thermal springs, where you will be able to relax and feel the health properties of thermal water. The admission ticket to the Thermal Pools includes themed areas for children and adults so that everyone can enjoy their time well. Guests have at their disposal play and relaxation areas for children and adults.
6. Wielka Krokiew - Ski Jumping Hill
The Ski Jumping World Cup takes place in Zakopane every year in winter. It is a very popular winter sport in Poland. Access to the ski jumps is not included in the tour, it is only allowed for professional ski jumpers.
7. Muzeum Oscypka Zakopane
you will taste traditional local cheese (oscypek) made from sheep's milk and local alcohol.
8. Tatras Mountains (Tatry)
On the Gubałówka mountain there is a viewing point from which there is a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains.

A great day out. We'll worth going, 90 minutes from Krakow calling at a traditional village en route to Zakopane, then the amazing thermal baths on the way back.

Gubalowka was amazing. The views were unbelievable. The thermal springs made the whole trip. Out tour guide, Alice, was really good and helpful. Will definitely go again.

Had a great day visiting all the locations on the trip, however its a long day. The thermal springs are not exactly what I expected. It's more a hot pool with lots a children

Set high in the mountains so lovely scenery on the way there.Was not expecting it to be as much of a complex, thought it would be a more natural setting somehow.The whole day trip with cheese and vodka tasting, cable far ride and time for shopping was good but a very long day. 2 hours back to Krakow in a minibus. Our driver was friendly and very knowledgeable. I chose to sit in the front of the minibus as I get a bit claustrophobic in the back and he said he was very happy to stop if I needed to which was reassuring.

Amazing experience, start to end perfect trip. Mike our tour guide and Mario our driver were absolutely fantastic, so welcoming too! Full itinerary provided, gave us recommendations on where to go and visit with our free time in zakopane. Provided history and knowledge about all areas and great humour too. If you get the opportunity to do this trip you HAVE to! The views are just spectacular and to finish the day in thermal baths was just simply amazing.

The day is about 12 hour trip with stops along the way, get to try local cheese and vodka at shepherds hut. Majority of places do accept travel card however, you are told for the smaller markets cash only in the wooden village there is an option to withdraw cash.

Our guide was informative which was very helpful when navigating the lift system in Zakopane and the wristband procedure in the thermal baths. During the tour/stop we received tips via whatsapp with what may be good to see or where may be nice to eat. Short stops at the local houses and cheese tasting. Longer stops at Zakopane and the thermal baths. Zakopane was way more touristy then I had imagined but still nice to see. The thermal baths were really enjoyable. Nice day out.

Easy pick up close to hotel met our guide Matthew who was attentive and knowledgeable minibus was comfortable had a good day tried smoked cheese and vodka. Then on to zacopane up the mountain on the railway the views were fantastic such a hot and clear day. Then, back to the town then on to the thermal springs not too crowded it was a large place with plenty of pools in and outside.
