About a 1-hour drive from Seoul, we will arrive at Imjingak Park. The Imjingak park, located at 50km northwest of Seoul, was built for 5 million people who had lost their homes. Major facilities include the North Hall where you can get a view of the North Korean lifestyle.
Imjingak Park was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification would be possible. Through this park, visitors can see over 400 photos and documents showing the stark reality of North Korea. The next place is Odusan Unification Observatory, this observatory is located on the northernmost ceasefire line of the western front where the Hangang river and Imjingang river meet.

Billy was a great driver and tour guide. He took very good care of us. He told us a lot of historical facts about the war and forming of the DMZ. He didn’t rush us and gave us plenty of time to appreciate all information and sites.

The guide barely spoke English, so
we had no explanation. However, the guide was courteous and available.

Went on trip to DMZ. Our tour guide was Adella. She is so polite and kind. She gave us a history lesson. My wife and children learned a lot. She was always punctual. We would definitely go on another tour with Adella!!

We visited a number of DMZ sights including the Odusan Unification Tower and sights at Imjingak like the steam engine, Skywalk, Bridge of Freedom and Beat 131 (Underground bunker). We then spent time at the War Memorial of Korea and finished up at the Seoul Tower. The tour gave us new insights on the devastation of this war and then the speed in which South Korea rebuilt is truly remarkable.
Our tour guide and driver, Brian was excellent. He was knowledgeable and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour company and guide.

We had a great guide Henry who took us to the DMZ. He was really knowledgeable and made a difference. Much better than a public tour.
Once you get to the DMZ area though everyone is loaded onto the same buses and so the timing is decided by the DMZ people.
The third tunnel was crowded and we didn’t have enough time to make it right to the end as the line kept stopping. So we had to get back to the surface which was a shame.
Might be better to go during the week as it was really busy on a sat.
A great experience. Sad to see how many families are seperated by the DMZ.

Very nice half Day spent in DMZ - our driver and guide Justin picked us up at our hotel on time with a very comfortable van. We spent About 90 minutes on our way to DMZ. We saw the 3rd infiltration tunnel, Dorasan train station, Dora observatory, Imjingak park and much more. Justin knew a lot of interesting information and was able to answer all our questions. We would Just appreciate to have more time at each stop of the tour - but this is not "problem" of the guide as you have to follow the instructions and itinerary of the DMZ officials. :)
