My favorite activity in Queenstown! This was such a great activity. I went with my daughter and another family. The brochures don’t do it justice. We had the most amazing time. It was accessible to most anyone, you don’t have to be a top athlete but had enough excitement and activity to keep most engaged. Repelled down waterfalls, beautiful scenery. Top marks all the way through.

A really nice fun morning out. Stefan our driver and guide was knowledgeable, professional patient and funny. Everything is supplied and you just go and enjoy. Not too difficult and good for families.

Great way to spend our first time canyoning. Ross was an excellent guide. Wet suits kept us warm. The hardest part for me was scaling the rocky cliffs but Ross jumped in to help me and my husband when we doubted we could do it.

Fantastic for first-time adult Cantonese!!
Husband and I are newly empty-meters. We took a bucket trip to New Zealand and totally enjoyed this canyoning tour. Brig was our tour guide: he is very knowledgeable and very patient because I got a little scared at 2 spots, and he made it easy for me to have fun getting myself thru the rocks and climbs. It is totally a ton of fun. I was also impressed with the quality of the equipment, especially the boots — wonderful equipment!
Thank you, Brig, for a great afternoon. We could not have asked for me!!

Had a blast on this tour led by Ross and Stefan...so much so that I wished I had booked the full-day tour. I'm a bit shaky with heights but never once felt afraid. Safety briefing is thorough and makes you feel comfortable with the equipment and techniques. Once you get into the canyon, it's SO FUN! Appreciated Ross taking photos and encouraging fun shots - made for a great trip memento.

Our original itinerary for the full-day Mt Aspiring canyoning was cancelled due to bad weather/unsafe conditions, but Canyoning NZ worked with us to schedule the half-day Gibbston Valley experience that would work with our plans. They were accommodating and great to work with from start to finish.
Canyoning NZ provided all the gear: wet suit, socks, helmet, harness, and boots. Bring a swimsuit (wear it under your clothes on the shuttle), a towel, and dry underwear to change into afterwards.
The canyoning experience was fun for everyone in our group, including a few first-timers. There was nothing too sketchy, but included several rappels (abseils) and some scrambling through the narrow canyon. Our guide, Brig, was professional, encouraging, and made it very enjoyable. He even had dad jokes and rodeo rope/knot tricks. Would highly recommend.
