This was such an amazing adventure! We were a family of 5 adults, with this being our first White Water Rafting experience. Mel, our guide made sure to get us plenty wet, all while keeping us safe and secure on the raft. He was also full of information about the Costa Rican ecosystem and natural wildlife. He even took us on a short tour of Quepos on the ride back, showing us local coffee shops and restaurants.
The Naranjo River was full of rapids and "Tequilia's" and was just perfect for the adventure we were looking for (not too advanced but not boring). Afterward, we were greeted by his team with fresh juice and fruit. I would recommend this tour for all ages, as they will customize the speed and level according to your experience and comfort.

I am typing this hours after my experience while I provide you all the info.
Damian and Landon were our guides and were phenomenal.
They provided a great experience the minute we started the drive to get in the river with lots of informative information on the towns we drove through and points of interest, including the animal life.
The rapids were amazing and we hit it at the perfect time. There was lots of rain days prior to arriving and the river was at the perfect level for a guaranteed amazing time. We had an amazing time.
Being able to read the water and know when to paddle forward, backward, left, right or any of the other techniques was wild. But they kept us safe and showed us some amazing rapids and it was the best time.
Towards the end of the rapids we experienced some 1 and 2 level rapids and what they called “riding the waves” 🌊 and it was so fun! You may even catch some air going through some of the larger rapids like we did.
At the end of the tour, you will enjoy fresh pineapple and juice that is homemade along with some cookies.
Overall an amazing experience and I cannot wait to book something else with my new friends.

I am writing this hours after my excursion.
Damian and Landon were our guides today and they were by far the best guides I have ever had on any excursion anywhere.
Super friendly. Super informative. Super experienced.
They provided information the minute we started our drive to the river. Pointing out animals, buildings, towns, and restaurants.
They provided lots of safety information prior to the rafting, even though I’ve rafted before, they provided me some new info.
The rapids were amazing! The went at them in full force and never tipped or fall out. It’s cool how they can read the water and know how to tell us to pull.
Being a smaller boutique company, they are able to accommodate smaller groups and be able to work with other excursion companies to provide helpful info and bookings.
If you want to raft, any time of the year, book this company you will not regret it.

I’ve done a fair amount of rafting and this river was the best. Lots of amazing rapids, tons of action, and incredible scenery! The owners and guides are great! Our 13 year old was nervous but by the end he said he’d do it again. We felt like we were in good hands. Experience of a lifetime! Highly recommended!

It was our first time white water rafting and start to finish, Damian gave us the information and instructions to stay safe and have a blast on the river. In between rapids we were able to spot many birds which Damian's wealth of knowledge was able to help us identify. Super bonus was Landon's photos of us having the time of our lives experiencing this gorgeous ecosystem!

It was first time white water rafting so, it was quite the introduction! Two others in my group had previously rafted and were looking for a “higher level” experience. I, literally, was along for the right so I agreed to “test the waters”, as it were. My guides, Mel & Lando, took great care of me, checked in frequently & offered immense support throughout the trip. It was my first rafting experience, but certainly not my last, because of them!

Damian was an excellent guide for our 1st ever white water raft experience.It was a real adrenaline rush in the rapids.This was intermixed with real peaceful tranquility admiring the canyon and surroundings.The water was refreshing and we were the first raft on the Rio Naranjo in the morning so no other rafts to contend with. It was also great that only my son & I were in the raft with Damian so a real personal experience. I would highly recommend this rafting experience as it was such a fun and fulfilling thing to do and glad that we booked this adventure.
Finally,Damian’s colleague took photos of us rafting and these are great memories to look back upon.
If you are slightly nervous about booking,don’t be,as you are in excellent hands.Book & enjoy

Dom and his family and staff are some of the best tour operators I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They took care of our safety first and always. After that, they made us feel like family and provided us with an amazing adventure for first-time white water rafters. The river was the lowest it has been in decades due to EL Nino, but that had no negative impact on the amount of fun and adventure that Dom was able to provide. I would recommend Dom to all my friends in their visit to Costa Rica. His recommendation is for Koky BBQ ribs was spot on. Great BBQ ribs with a sauce that was so unique that it put the ribs in running for best I have ever had, and this is from an Okie who lived in Kansas City!!
