If you’re contemplating doing this tour whilst you’re in Athens, definitely do it! It was great to explore the city with a local guide, whilst eating and learning about local food.
There was more food included than I expected and it was really filling.
This is what I ate (and drank) on the tour:
• 2 small slices of Greek pies (one was filled cheese and the other contained spinach)
• 2 slices of Greek pizza + a bottle of water
• Souvlaki (this was the best one I’ve ever had!) with a glass of wine or beer
• Greek doughnuts (the cinnamon + honey one was amazing )
• Orange cake with ice cream
Also, I have a severe nut allergy, so I was a little anxious about doing a food tour but our tour guide was incredibly helpful and she checked with the chefs/ food providers before I ate anything!

Amy really knew her way around, as well as seemed very connected to the staff at the places we visited. She was a wealth of knowledge and wanted to teach you about Greek history and culture. And there was SO MUCH FOOD!!!

This was such a great tour! It would be great to do near the beginning of your trip to Athens, as you walk around some of the main districts and this tour allows you to become familiar with a fairly large area. All the food was amazing, and our tour guide was great. Would absolutely recommend!

Don’t eat before! We skipped supper because we had so much food, good thing we were walking to burn off the calories. Everything was so good and Jenny was fantastic!

A truly awesome experience! Both Foti and Katerina were extremely welcoming and knowledgable. We did this on our last day in Athens, and while it was a great way to conclude our trip, I suggest doing it towards the beginning of your trip because they give great recommendations for additional places to visit. Regardless of when you do it, we 100% recommend this food tour for anyone and everyone! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Antonia was a brilliant guide, friendly, informative & accommodating. Pointing out places of historical significance & explaining the history of Athens &/or Greek food, as we walked around central Athens. We sampled 3 savoury foods & 2 sweet foods on the tour -the pistachio donuts were especially good. Highly recommended Tour if you want to be introduced to authentic Greek street food & Athens at the same time.
