Combine the walking tour of Split with a visit to the city of Trogir.
After the 90 min walking tour of the Diocletian's Palace, your tour guide will drive you to Trogir in a comfortable air-conditioned van. You will learn about the history of this awe-inspiring UNESCO old town from the knowledgeable local guide as you walk the narrow streets, and visit historical monuments such as the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, one of the most impressive works of architecture in all of Eastern Europe.
You will have the chance to see two beautiful small towns where your guide will show you as much as possible but you will still have some free time to wander around before going back to Split.

Jovan is a natural, enthusiastic presenter, which made the tour truly engaging. His commentary brought the palace to life. Jovan also provided thoughtful insight in Trogir, although we’re on the fence about whether that town was worth the trip. It was pretty, but not exceptional.

A very interesting tour with deep history and entertaining stories. This was a great way to be introduced to the city of Split. Trogir was wonderful, too!

Lots of info about Diocletian's palace and Croatian history in general, maybe a bit too much info with a lot of detail. Hectic when the round in Split was over, and we almost had to run to catch transport on to Trogir. Fair trip north to Trogir with a tour around the old town with a skilled guide who was good at English and had a lot of knowledge about Trogir.

Our guide, Antonia, was very friendly and knowledgable about the two cities and country’s history. Unfortunately, there’s not much to see of the Diocletian Palace, around which much of the tour was focused in Split. Trogir is a pretty seaside city, but again, there weren’t many historical or cultural sights to see.
If you’re interested in seeing two pretty seaside cities this tour is for you. If seeing impressive historical sites are important you could be disappointed.

We had a wonderful day in Trogir and Split. Mario picked us up at the port and we drove to Trogir for an informative walking tour and shopping/free-time. Mario speaks fantastic English and was very knowledgeable about the area, Croatian history and the ancient aspects of the City. We then went to Split and had a similar walking tour with a clear explanation given about many of the historical elements of found in Split. The tour was just long enough but not too long so that we still had free-time to look around and do our own exploring. I would recommend the tour and Mario as the guide.

This was my first time doing the guided walking tour and I loved it! What a great idea! Ivan’s stories about Split and Croatia were really good, you could tell he is really passionate about his job I was into the stories for the full 1.5 hours.
I learned soooo much about Split and Croatia!
I’ll look to do these tours in all the cities I’ll go

Mario did an excellent job telling the story of Split and Trogir. Very informative! He did a great job explaining timelines. He even provided us restaurant suggestions and where to go for the best view of the city.
