The tour begins with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, from here we will travel for 3 hours and 30 minutes until the start of the walk, Soraypampa will be the start of our uphill walk of approximately 2 hours on the way we will appreciate snow-capped peaks such as Salkantay i Humantay also some condors floating in space, streams, llamas and many native medicinal plants. Arriving at the lagoon we will take our rest while we take photos after 30 minutes we will return to Soraypampa for our return to Cusco, if you want food do not forget to reserve it a day before. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this experience, the company and are truly excellent guide, Alex. We have been doing tours all over Peru, and this one was the last of them and stuck out so much. We were nervous because it was too late to book tours to Lake Humantay, but the company arranged private taxi transportation for us at our preferred time and even said the driver would be able to accompany us on the hike. Our driver/guide Alex was so professional, caring and supportive. I'm traveling with my 63 year old mom, and he was patient in getting us up to the top at our own speed. He taught us so much about Peru! And was a truly excellent driver, who put us at ease on the long road to Humantay. I will be telling my friends about this experience for the rest of my life and will certainly recommend that they book Palomino Taxi Tours for when they travel to Cusco, and especially to go with Alex! I don't know if I can ever do any of the grueling bus rides again when I know that this fun, sensible, and thorough but comfortable option exists. A top travel experience that I've ever had.

Great trip and good price. The driver was very kind and professional and the communication via Whatsapp (price negotiation, planning of the trip, asking for extra info) was very convenient and in good English. We also cancelled our third trip which and this was no problem at all, even though we got a discount because we were going to do 3 trips. Would definitely recommend!

After a week in Cuzco , we can gladly say that Julio was the best driver we had from the whole trip. We hired him to drive us to Humantay Lake, and the whole process from coordinating through WhatsApp to dropping us off after the hike went smoothly. He was courteous and very friendly in giving us lots of information during the ride. You won’t regret choosing Palomino Taxi as your transportation in Cuzco !
