1. Sugarloaf Mountain
Sugarloaf Mountain is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. Rising 396 m (1,299 ft) above the harbor, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar. It is known worldwide for its cableway and panoramic views of the city and beyond
2. Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer
Christ the Redeemer is an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, in collaboration with French engineer Albert Caquot. Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida fashioned the face. Constructed between 1922 and 1931, the statue is 30 metres (98 ft) high, excluding its 8-metre (26 ft) pedestal. The arms stretch 28 metres (92 ft) wide.

In 1957, it was tumbled by the “Instituto do PatrimônioHistórico e ArtísticoNacional” (IPHAN) like as historical and cultural heritage of the city of Rio de Janeiro. 4. Escadaria Selaron

6. Mirante Dona Marta
The Mirante Dona Marta literally translates to ‘lookout,’ and visitors to the site will get just that — an incredible view of some of Rio de Janeiro’s best sights, often without the crowds. Standing there one can see the long stretches of lush forest and white sand beach below, and even take in the famous sights of the Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf Mountain. The area functions as a helipad and observation point, with panoramic views of Guanabara Bay and Copacabana. At 1,200 feet (364 meters) high, it provides excellent sunrise and sunset vistas and photo opportunities of the natural surroundings and the city below. Many who know Rio well cite it as their favorite viewpoint.
7. Rocinha
Rocinha is a favela located in the South Zone of the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It stands out for being the largest favela in the country.

9. Parque Nacional da Tijuca
Located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, with access through the North, South, and West Zones, Tijuca National Park (Parna Tijuca or PNT) protects the largest man-replanted urban forest in the world, spanning 3,953 ha of Atlantic Forest. It is the most visited National Park in Brazil, receiving more than three million visitors per year, including Brazilians and foreigners of all ages.

11. Escadaria Selaron
In 1990, Jorge Selarón began to renovate some steps of the staircase, which was in a poor state of repair and which passes in front of his house. At first, the neighbors mocked the bizarre color combinations as he mixed the steps with bits of blue, green and yellow tiles, the colors of the Brazilian flag. It started as a hobby for his main passion, painting, but soon became an obsession. Selarón was almost always broke and then sold paintings to finance his venture. It was a long and tiring work, but the artist went on with the work and finally covered the entire set of tiled, ceramic, and mirrored steps.

Presidente Costa e Silva Bridge, popularly known as the Rio – Niterói Bridge, is a bridge that crosses Guanabara Bay in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It connects the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói. Its name is in honor of Arthur da Costa e Silva, president during the military regime in Brazil (1964–1985) who gave the order for the construction of the structure.
13. Museu de Arte Contemporanea de Niteroi
The Niterói Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) is a museum of Brazilian contemporary art located in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The work was inaugurated on September 2, 1996. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer, MAC became one of Niterói's postcards. It is mainly intended for works belonging to Brazilian contemporary art from the 1950s until today. The museum has a collection of 1,217 works from the João Sattamini Collection. A collection assembled since the 1950s by collector João Sattamini, constituting the second largest collection of contemporary art in Brazil.
14. Forte de Copacabana
Copacabana Fort is located at the tip of Copacabana, at the end of the beach and neighborhood of the same name, in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Fort Duque de Caxias, formerly known as Vigia Fort, Espia Fort and Leme Fort, is located in the Leme district of Rio de Janeiro.

Caio was really good. He showed in 8 hours all the good spots in Rio, helping to choose the right times at which not to encounter too much tourists, helping to take VIP fast track entries to attractions, helping making very nice pictures, with great English skills.

Ciao was an incredible
Tour guide and phenomenal photographer. He was knowledgeable and proud of Rio’s rich history. He knew the best spots in the city for picture and views. He should really be a photo journalist!

He arranged to pick me up from the airport and we spent hours touring the sites and eating and drinking like a local.

He gave me great recommendations for the rest of my time in Rio and they did not disappoint.

He is awesome and I cannot wot to connect with him my next trip to Rio.

This was my second private tour with Caio. Let me begin by saying that Caio is the best guide for a one day city tour in Brazil. He begins by taking you to a beautiful view of Sugarloaf Mountain in the Lake District. It’s morning so coconut milk And a beautiful view on the water is perfect. From there we went to the Christ of the Redeemer. There and everywhere we went Caio takes professional quality photographs with your camera phone. No angle is too difficult, no contortion not possible for Caio to take a great Instagram worthy shot.
We opted for an option to tour Santa Marta Favela, where Michael Jackson filmed the video “They don’t really care about us.”
This is a once in a lifetime experience for the adventurous.
And Caio knows restaurants. This time he took us to a old time businessman’s lunch spot that had the best meal I’ve had in Brazil. Have an open mind and you will not be disappointed.
In conclusion, it is with my highest regard that I recommend Caio. And I look forward to our next trip to Rio.

Caio our tour guide.He was on time .Really made our Brazilian trip very memorable. His fun facts along with the history of the places we visited made the trip that much more captivating. Caio was amazing! He contacted me ahead of time to put together a personalized tour that all 8 of us loved. He knew of places, views, and restaurants we didn't know to ask about. One of my friends had a broken leg and was on crutches, and Caio and the driver made sure everything went very smoothly. I would highly recommend his tour for anyone visiting Rio and the surrounding area!!

Caio was an excellent guide in all respects including pre-tour communication. He met us right on time in our hotel, and took us to number of very interesting locations in Rio including the top of Sugarloaf. He’s an excellent photographer, and use our phone to take some great pictures of us and some scenery we would not have captured otherwise. We told him we wanted to go to a nice restaurant, and he picked an outstanding restaurant with an excellent reputation and the food was great. His driver was also very good. I especially like the fact that, with his guide badge, we could bypass long lines. We have used several TBL guides in the past and he ranks up there with the best of them.

Touring with Caio is the best decision we made in Rio!
He contacted us 48hrs prior to understand what we had in mind &our preferences.
On the D-day, we started at 6am but he still reached 30mnts earlier.
The car was lux, he started by outlining the plan, and most importantly, traveling with Caio gave us an ease of mind.
The pace was comfortable and the photos/videos he took for us were amazing! He brought us to great spots and allowed us to have dynamic on the lens.
We encountered a hiccup when the car bumped into a pothole & burst two tires, and within few minutes we were back in action with uber. Such things happen all the time but Caio took care of the flow & vibe. He also engaged us in some interesting topics and meaningful sharings.
We highly recommend Caio to anyone who wants to get the most our of Rio!
