The flight itself went very well. The pilot and its assistants to get the ballon up and down were very professional. The security briefing was well done. We felt very safe. However, the organization was a bit of a mess at the arrival on the site, and also during the breakfast time. For example we selected the French speaking group, but at the last minute just before getting into the ballon, we were taken to another English speaking group…the queue for the breakfast was disorganized and the coffee undrinkable. But all in all, it was a positive experience.

We had a fantastic flight with Montgolfier; we were very impressed with the professionalism of the pilot Matthieu who engaged with his passengers in French and English. The balloon had a basket for 16 in four compartments which meant that everybody had a comfortable and clear outside view. The views were spectacular and the sight and sound of the balloons being inflated in the pre-dawn darkness was quite thrilling. Communication was by email and WhatsApp. I would suggest booking through your Riad or hotel as we were initially asked to meet the driver a long way from our Riad in the medina and it would have been a long and slightly anxious walk in the dark. Our Riad hosts were able to arrange a much closer pick up.

The ride in the Hot Air Balloon was an experience of a lifetime. Breathtaking views of the sunrise and the Moroccan landscape. The pilot was very professional and experienced. The hour long journey was great amazing and our landing was perfect. This company is very well organized from the riad early pickup in the morning, welcome tea drink and flight orientation, to the flight itself and breakfast after the flight. The prices are very reasonable and would highly recommend this company. We even forgot our flight certificates in the bus and they came and dropped them off in our riad. Well done guys !! Excellent service !!

This is a must do experience in Marakesh. Daniel the pilot and Laurence the tour manager picked us up by our Riad for the 30 minutes drive in the early hours, which was an experience in off itself.Once all the ballon passengers were collected, we headed out of town to the ballon site and had coffee and pastries while the ballon was inflated. Once onboard, I did not feel the ballon slowly lift off and float over the local farmers fields with at least 6 six other ballons in the air for company while we experienced the sunrise. According to the altitude meter we ascended 3000 ft which was their limit due to airport restrictions. After floating around for an hour, we descended and had a soft landing. The treat after landing was breakfast provided by a local Berber family providing traditional Moroccon food in their home. This gave us the opportunity to make new friends, and despite the different languages we enjoyed each other company, and then it was over.All too quickly. If you have never done a ballon ride before, do this one and get the certificate to prove it (smile). Special thanks to the ballon team and their little dog.

We did book this tour because it sounded less commercial compared to some other companies what a mistake this was.
Collection hotel 20 minutes late because others didn’t t show up. ( other hotel) dog in car is not everybody wish early morning/ no excuses.
Hardly hot coffee or croissants on arrival.
Balloon ok but no briefing
Too many people 7 our site / 2 other site plus pilot.
Really too many people since I stood in the middle I couldn’t t make professional photos because one of the others was in the way with hair/ hands and mostly iPhones. Condens water on my head and coat plus ashes or other black flying objects and really really hot when the burners were burning. My friends shirt got damaged by these ashes.
Hardly information on board and just a very short flight.
We were the last to leave from the 5 companies ( due to late arrival) and second or third to land.
Other friend who is a pilot herself said he is flying very very economically to save gas. Up to 700 meters in the beginning most of the time 250 meter.
Landing short briefing hold on the ropes and through your knees.
Landing was ok. Guys on the ground normal clothes no hellos just collect gear and in the car. ( same as passengers/ two landcruisers)
Breakfast at local Berber house / wash hands in running water bowl with one handtowel / no soap. ( No Corona virus in Marrakesh yet).
Food was ok but simple/ no fruit or juices. Tea was too much sugar.
Flight itself was ok but compared to others I had in Bagan / South Africa/ Australia very very poor extras and absolutely much room for improvement. For most people it is once in a lifetime experience and not a must be done job.
We did receive a certificate.

Everything: booking - pickup - flight- breakfast - drop back to hotel was excellent. Very professional and customer friendly company run by a Belgian expat couple. The flight was amazing and breakfast afterwards in a local house was a bonus experience. To anyone nervous about doing this - don't be - I have never felt so secure while flying. The owners seem very aware and concerned for the locals which is good.

I started the 2020 with a hot air balloon flight on the sunrise on 1st Jan - and I couldn't start my new year in a more awesome way!
Everything was perfect from start to end.
Laurence and Michel make sure to deliver an amazing Customer experience and they're extremely professional and careful.
Super Recommended! A MUST-DO in Morocco!

Great experience and a fantastic set-up. The pilot and his team were fantastic from start to finish and gave us a great insight into the local area and ballooning. The balloon operated by this company has a 10 persons basket and just one balloon which led to a more personal experience compared to other companies who appeared to have much bigger Operations. The pilot joined us for breakfast in the Berber village, explaining the locals involvement in his ballooning business & was great to understand how they benefited from the ballooning. An unforgettable day which I highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech!

We really enjoyed our christmas morning ride. Michel is very experienced and provides a great service. We appreciated being in a smaller group rather than the larger groups of 20 we say in other balloons. The ride was amazing and not to be missed with great views of the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech. After the ride, we had breakfast at one of the crew's houses which was delicious and a unique experience.
