Two Passenger 200cc Scooters are not to be ridden on gravel or dirt roads! Pavement riding only. Riding boundaries are pretty much the whole island. Enjoy everywhere Maui has except the road to Hana. Do not pass Twin Falls.
The driver of the vehicle will need to agree to the following:
-I am least 18 years of age
-I possess a valid driver's license
-I understand the riding boundaries
-Only one rider per 49cc moped
-I will wear protective eye-wear at all times
-I have been instructed to wear the provided DOT approved helmet at all times

This was our second excursion with 808 rides. We visit Maui odd years and rented scooters last time and it was so much fun, we had to do it again. Definitely on our list for 2025. A great way to see the island.

Very helpful and friendly. Scooter was 200cc and took both of us with no trouble. N better way to see the island. Definitely go up Highway 30 to the end past the Blow Hole - it is a perfect ride. Very happy with 808 rides. Had the 200cc scooter for 3 days.

We rented a 300cc moped, were not sure initially if it would hold up the Hana trip, but boy, we were pleasantly impressed! The moped was smooth as butter! The renting out and dropping off process was easy. Matt was very helpful, and patiently answered our queries. Monica was courteous too!
We will definitely rent the moped from them again! Cheers!

I rented an e-bike for 4 days from Monica, who was great. She showed me everything about the bike Including how to charge it up and lock it.
808's prices were very reasonable and the online checkout was easy. I'd use them again.

Repeat customer here! I’ve rented M1 & 50cc Scooters at both the Lahaina and Kihei locations a few times and have never been disappointed. I just returned from Maui having rented from Kihei this time. Anne, Monica and Matt were all fantastic! They are super friendly and accommodating. I rented the 300cc scooter and rode it to Hana. Awesome experience! I’m a repeat customer: the bikes run good, they’re clean, and are good performers. The 200cc easily gets from Kihei to Lahaina; usually leading the pack. Customer service is great; Monica is adorable!

Rented a 300cc scooter for 55 days and had no trouble getting anywhere we wanted to go. Definitely the way to get around on Maui. Even did the road to Hana no problem. Much more fun and practical than renting a car. Monica was awesome to work with as well. Would highly recommend 808 Rides!
