This tour was amazing! Angrily was knowledgeable and a great host, patiently answered all my questions and is a pretty good photographer too! Highly recommend if you're interested in history / architecture. Overall, our of the best tours I've done.

This was a fantastic experience and the best way to see the monastery. Andriy is an exceptional tour guide - he is very knowledgeable and accommodating. My wife and I were thankful for the experience and felt it was a tremendous value. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit Belem.

Of all the tours we booked for our trip to Lisbon, this one was worth every penny. My Lisbon Tours was great at communicating the need/instructions to purchase entrance tickets for the Jeronimos Monastery. They also provided the name and photo of our guide and transportation options to the meeting point due to a marathon on the same day. Our guide Andriy was very knowledgeable and patient answering all of our questions. If you want to tour the Belem area, choose this tour.

It was our 2nd day with Andriy and another great day! Started at famous Pateis de Belem for an egg tart. Unfortunately, if you are gluten sensitive like me, there are no options available at this shop. Then went to Jeronimos Monastery. However, tour did not include cathedral visit, which we came back to later. From there we saw monuments along the riverfront. Entrance to Tower of Belem was not included.

At no fault to our tour guide, we had our walking tour on a very cold, blustery, rainy day. This made it quite uncomfortable. We had a different walking tour in Ronda actually cancel and reschedule the following day because of the weather and I feel this shouldʻve been done for us here with our Belem and Monastery tour. I was literally shivering as we walked outdoors and stood in the windy, rainy weather under our umbrellas trying to be attentive to our knowledgeable guide and the information he was sharing. Our guide was in fact knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, kept the group together and cohesive, but I do feel that he pulled his phone out too often to show us info., proof of what he was telling us about on google. Iʻd prefer looking and spending more time admiring the in person architecture and historical sites rather than looking on google. He did go over sites on the tour, donʻt get me wrong, I just feel like the "google proof" especially while chilling in the rain was not necessary. The biggest benefit of this tour was the skip the line admission to the monastery (as it was the longest line ever that we were privileged to pass) and bakery for the most delicious, genuine, award winning Portuguese pastry. Pasteis de Belem is noted on many of the visitors websites as the best for this treat, and some sites say you can get it anywhere. My biggest advice for this tour, you need to try this one, itʻs the real deal. Portugal offers many varieties of this custard pastry, practically at every turn, but this is the one thatʻs worth trying.

This tour allows you to taste the original Portuguese custard pastries, visit the Jeronimos Monastery without waiting in a long line, see the Belem tower and the Monument of Discoveries with a wonderful guide who provided detailed explanations. Highly recommend.

Our tour was amazing! Andriy was an amazing guide. He knew the history and cultural significance of everything. He made it a conversation rather than just pointing out historical facts. It was an amazing experience! He even offered us his umbrella when it started to rain while we were walking. I would highly recommend this tour.

Andriy gave us an excellent tour of the Belem neighborhood, including the Jeronimos Monastery, the Tower of Belem, and the Monument of the Discoveries. He was very knowledgeable about each of the locations and the history of the area. We thought the Pastel de Belem was the best pastry we had in Lisbon. We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning more about the Belem area.

Tough for those from the US to wake up so early, but it was the perfect time and length to learn about Portugal's Age of Exploration and try the iconic Pastéis de Belém. The amount of detail and historical context was remarkable and fascinating.
