You will be picked up by our professional polite knowledgeable driver in a nice Mercedes-Benz vehicle (sedan or van) to go to you destination with a stop in Pompeii Ruins for 2 hours. Our driver are happy to chat. Despite not being fluent in English, Rino our driver acted like a tour guide on our way from Naples to Positano, sharing historical landmarks. The car was comfortable and clean, and his driving was good too. The driver company arranged a tour guide for Pompeii (Massimiliano - Max for short) and he was top notch. There was a long line and we got right to the front without any wait. He is an Archeological Tour Guide so he knew a lot and was a great story teller. It was a 2 hrs tour, short and sweet.
While we were on the tour Rino (our driver) kept our bags safe and in air conditioning - which was important to us since we have medicine that can’t be in the heat. All in all, a great experience and smooth transfer with a fun stop in Pompeii.

This was absolutely an amazing decision to get a private transfer from Naples to Sorento with a stop for two hours in Pompei. A private archeological guide was arranged to give us a tour at Pompei and we also had a brief stop at a Lemoncello factory.
Josef was a ponders I. Arranging out transport and Marco was a fabulous driver.

Excellent driver, Mario, who gave us lots of tips and information about the Napoli/Amalfi Coast area. Very good driver who was punctual and friendly. We added the Pompeii stop last minute and so happy that we did. Our driver waited for us while we explored Pompeii with a tour guide. Overall fantastic experience, comfortable car, safe and knowledgeable driver!

We were picked up at the train station without any issue and Josef arranged for a private tour guide at Pompeii. She was great and very knowledgeable. After the tour, they dropped us off at our Hotel in Sorrento. Great service. Marco our driver was very pleasant and we were very happy with his professionalism and friendly approach. On our way to the hotel we drove by a restaurant that he told us had great pizza. We went there our first night in Sorento and it was delicious. Highly recommend Josef and his company.

He communicated promptly via WhatsApp. His English was excellent and he really knew the history of the area. He had so many facts to tell us on our way to Pompeii. We did ask him to hire a guide for us for our short visit to Pompeii. I would say that 2 hours is not enough for Pompeii but it gives you a good taste. This was great for us since we were on a tight schedule and didn’t have time for a separate Pompeii day/tour during our trip. The drive from Pompeii to Sorrento was smooth and we never felt like he was driving recklessly. We liked his service so much that we hired him for the transfer back from Sorrento to Naples. We had an early morning train and I needed someone trustworthy to show up on time. He was there promptly at the time promised and got us to Naples Centrale on time.

We were very happy with this experience. Being able to get from one point to another….with a stopover….knowing our luggage was safe while we saw Pompeii worked well for us. Communication and suggestions re what to do etc….was appreciated. And our driver was friendly and helpful. And our Pompeii guide was excellent.

Josef made it incredibly easy to find him (even in busy Positano traffic) and kindly obliged last minute request for additional pick up point. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and Italy in general. He spoke incredibly well and was a fun addition to our group. He also connected us with an amazing guide in Pompeii that allowed us to take in the most important parts of the ruins in the limited time we had to be there. We took lots of car services while in Italy and Josef was by far the best transfer of all. Highly recommend.
