Participating in a cooking course does not only mean learning new local recipes, but also deepening the true culture, customs and habits of a food type.

Guide to the right qualitative purchase: Selection of "Zero Kilometer" products, knowledge of the fresh seasonal product and deepening on the various types of use in the kitchen.

Back at the restaurant all the participants will participate in the foreground throughout the preparation of Sicilian recipes, in a home-style just as per Sicilian tradition. Appetizers, first courses and second courses will be created with great family harmony all with a breathtaking view!
-It's ready!
After the preparation, the participants will sit in their seats to start the lunch prepared by them accompanied by two local homemade wines.
-See you later!
participants will receive a gift and the recipes of the lesson.

My wife and I showed up on the wrong date by accident, and Chef Massimo was more than willing to take us in his group anyways. He was super helpful with his cooking instructions and made everything simple for even the most basic of cooks (me). He brings a passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge to his classes that made the class all that more enjoyable. Met some amazing people in the group and will do it again next time we visit Taormina. Cannot recommend this enough.

We would have gone for the view alone. Massimo is a wonderful host and teacher I couldn't believe we did so much in a relatively short time. We can do this at home without feeling like we need to spend days to prep

Chef Massimo is AMAZING! The visit to the market is a nice start to the day, but once you get back to his home kitchen/studio, the real magic begins. He is incredibly organized. He is a fantastic teacher. This is a hands-on class, where you help prepare a multi-course Italian meal that was probably the best meal we had while we were in Italy. Can't say enough wonderful things about him. We had a group of 6 that signed up. The entire class was 16. His kitchen set-up is great, plenty of room to work. And the views from the kitchen are breathtaking. This was our 10th travel/cooking class. This was one of the very, very best. A+++++++

Massimo is an Amazing Chef. I loved everything we made, and he was excellent teacher. He provided really good explanations of the cooking process and provided extra tips. He made learning fun. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn to cook Sicilian dishes no matter what level of cook you are Massimo will provide a learning environment that is fun and educational. The best part is the good food at the end. Thank you, Massimo I learned to make true Sicilian food. Mary

What an awesome experience my husband and I had with Chef Massimo. His passion and patience in teaching us was outstanding. His culinary skills and detailed oriented technique were exceptional . This cooking class was beyond a 5 star from the moment Chef Massimo met us at the Arch. He imparted his expertise about all things food related. The market tour was full of tips on what ingredients to purchase for what kind of meal you are cooking. His place overlooking the sea was beautiful and the open air breezes as we prepared and cooked our meal added to the experience. Massimo made each guest feel comfortable and gave us all jobs to do. He instructed as we did each task to make the meal. Now for the meal... We are still drooling over the squash blossoms, mussels, bass, caponata, pasta with sun-dried tomato pesto. Massimo's grandfather's delicious vino completed our dining experience. Our time together with 14 other guests was incredibly fun and a gastronomic treat. I can't wait to buy the ingredients in US and try to make these recipes at home. Thank you for a wonderful day of food, family and fun. So much laughter and good vibes around a table in the Sicilian way.

Chef Massimo was great at communicating the information on selecting ingredients in a Sicilian market, food prep and presentation, and important tips on types of the foods to use together. He was very clear and direct during the prep work done by the participants and kept everyone engaged. He was sensitive to people's food preferences and creatively honored these. A great meal and great time for all .
