Puerto Rico Horseback Tropical Trail Ride: Beaches and Forests

We loved this experience. The place is very professional, ample parking and very organized and safe. The ride was a full two hours, the horses are very well trained and cared for, we were able to ride by the beach with great views, had a combination of slow riding to admire nature as well as the opportunity to gallop in some areas. Our guide Doug was a lot of fun and stayed engaged with the group at all times. We did the 9am ride and will definitely be back to try the 3:30pm one when we are back in the island.

My wife and I most memorable moment was, when we came out the forest trail on to the beach. The view was amazing 😍

We can highly recommend Tropical Trail Rides, and we are experienced riders. The horses are very well trained and kept. Our guide Albert was awesome providing tips for how to sit in the saddle, avoid tree limbs, keeping the horses in line. The tour is very well organized and has a fantastic variety of scenery, going from beach to rainforest to trail. They get the horses going in a pretty brisk trot but not full gallop. Our best tour ride ever.

The most incredible and beautiful dream come true of riding horses on the beach! The horses are happy, healthy, and well cared for and Doug was a GREAT guide!! Our group had a blast and would definitely do it again!

We booked this horseback riding trip when visiting San Juan with family. The drive was quite long and we got stuck in traffic however the experience was amazing. Our guide Alberto was very relaxed and friendly. My 6 year old nephew was riding a horse for the first time and he rated this trip 100/10 and usually he is very difficult to please ! The horses were very well trained! The route was sirene with mix of forests, residential areas and secluded beaches ! It was worth every penny! Alberto’s guide was well balanced with local fun facts and periods of silence to allow to enjoy the scenic beauty!

This by far was the best horseback riding excursion EVERRR!! The views were breathtaking and we truly love how they take care the horses. If we’re ever in Isabela again we would definitely book! Thank you for the amazing experience.

Such a LOVELY horseback ride! This is our second time doing it with a few others who had never ridden and it was an absolute blast! We had Doug (Hot Diggity Doug!) as our guide, and he is an absolute gem! He’s a great guide, super fun, and just made it a great experience. Highly recommend and even better if you get Doug :) But all the guides are so lovely and their love of the horses is what shines the most!

I am an experienced rider. I was able to book this ride a few days in advance. Horses were great they paired up riders experience with the horse. Horses are well maintained. Guides were knowledgeable about the area. There were riders of all experiences and everyone had an enjoyable time. Would definitely do it again. Price was reasonable.

This was a very fun experience for my daughter and me. I never did horseback riding before and they really were patient with me, very clear on their instructions, the views were amazing, the beach was stunning, and the guides were very nice. I would do this again!!
