Had a fantastic time climbing multi-pitch outdoors at Sugarloaf with Thomas as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and cared about our safety. He also took such great photos and videos as a bonus! My partner is not as experienced in climbing but with Thomas's help, he was able to complete the climb as well and had so much fun. Highly recommended!

Our guide, Didi, was awesome!! My husband and I had never climbed before and Didi gave us all the guidance and we felt super capable and safe to do the climb. The view is beautiful and the path was really cool!

Sport climb Pao de Acucar- sugarloaf mountain with guia Didi. Great time. Didi was great and professional. World class guide. Tough 4 hours (I work in an office- haha). Worth the money. The view was worth every bit of it. 👍🏼👍🏼

Jiji was a brilliant guide who made this experience super enjoyable and interesting! The hike itself included some steep and challenging scrambles, but the views were amazing and worth the sweat :) Thank you very much, would definitely recommend to those seeking an adrenaline-fuelled way to reach the top of Sugarloaf!

I rock climbed the Sugarloaf mountain Coringa route with Fernando and it was AMAZING. The views were fantastic and the climb was challenging and fun. Fernando made the experience 10/10. He was very knowledgeable and coached me along the way. Would definitely recommend him.

Climbing to the top of Sugarloaf is one of those experiences that I’ll never forget and am so happy I did it! I would personally consider it more of a “climb” than a “hike” as I found it to be more intense than expected, but also more rewarding!!!! Getting to the top made me feel more alive than few other things have in the world!
My guide Eddie (?) was so awesome because he’s very passionate about climbing, safety, spoke excellent English, is fun, encouraging and all you could ever want to do this with. Nina in the office also did a great job to ensure scheduling and coordination was smooth. Rio Mountain Sports is a great operation and I highly recommend them.
Next trip to Rio I’ll definitely be looking them up for some more activities. I’d love to buy a souvenir shirt and wish they offered them.

A remarkable and fascinating adventure. Not as easy as thought, but the guide Didi made me feel reassured it is possible and all goes well. He is capable and friendly. The view of Rio from here is amazing and well worth seen.
