Thanks to the current operators, the market is experiencing a remarkable revitalization. The market offers a wide selection of fresh vegetables, fruits, delicatessen, fresh fish, cheese, fresh pasta, and puff pastry pies, typical of Roman cuisine. In addition to the fresh foods, the market also shares the stories of the past, which only small communities can offer. The ice creams you will taste are crafted using only raw materials and excludes the use of thickeners, emulsifiers, dyes, preservatives, fibers, semi-finished products, and base preparations. This ensures that our ice cream is light and easily digestible, with no secrets or gimmicks. These ice creams are truly a product of craftsmanship, with over three hundred rotating recipes, from classic Stracciatella to unique flavors like chocolate with wasabi. Each flavor is created with a perfect balance of milk, sugar, spices, flowers, fruit, cocoa, and cheese, all working together to achieve the ideal taste.

There are four classic pasta dishes that are a must-try when in Rome: carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, and alla gricia. Each dish has its own distinct ingredients and cooking methods that set it apart, and we would love to take you to taste them at one of the top pasta makers in our neighborhood. Pasta alla gricia is a Roman delicacy made with pasta, guanciale (cured pork jowl), pecorino cheese, and black pepper. Francesco Bibbo was a wonderful host with a passion for both Roman history and great food. The tour was specifically customised for our family and we found it extremely authentic. One of the highlights included a viewing opportunity from one of Francesco’s close friend’s balcony where we could view a large number of Rome’s ancient sites. The food was tasty and well presented with a great local story attached to each dish. Highly recommended!

We loved this tour! Our guide was very personable and actually grew up in the Monti neighborhood. It was so fun get away from the tourist type attractions and to have a relaxed night learning about the history and food in the area from a local. Would definitely recommend to others!

this was by far one of my favorite things I did while visiting Italy. It is nice to get a taste of the more local foods than just tourist locations. It also felt more personable being able to learn the history of the area from someone that grew up there. I would 10000% recommended this to anyone visiting the area. Great foods and great views!

We loved our experience with the food and wine tour! It was really awesome to explore the Rione Monti neighborhood and was very personalized. Our guide grew up in the area so we learned a lot of little interesting facts that are not well known to the public. We did not feel rushed and got to try a lot of local food/wine. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is staying in the area!
