This was a very authentic tour in Concordia area close to Medellin. This is def. designed for people who love coffee but has incredible scenery along the way, experienced during off roads alongside coffee beans hills, enjoying the views and the smells of the region. I am very happy we got to do this with Andre with explained to us how to make good coffee. My nephew and I enjoyed every bit of it and are thankful to Andre for sharing his knowledge and love for the country. I highly recommend this your and this agency to folks who want to experience what the country is all about.

This was a last minute trip - we have done coffee tours in Jamaica & Hawaii perviously and were not sure if it was worth it. However, decided to do it at the last minute, and added horseback riding as well. I am so glad, since it turned out to be the most exciting experience of our Colombia trip.
First of all, the owner/guide Andres is amazing - very knowleadgeble, accomodating, cordial, friendly and helpful. Our kids loved interacting with him.
Second, the tour. This involved 2 hour very scenic drive to a coffee plantation, a quick pause in the town of Concordia, lush vegetation and scenery soaking, coffee picking, lots of picture time, exploring end to end coffee processing plant, lunch, horse back riding in the very serene, very green rolling hills of Antioquia and finally the drive back.
Third - it was fantastic. Every part of the experience. Some were new, some unique, some thrilling, some scenic, some delicious, some marvellous - it was a combination of many emotions all with a happy ending. We loved the single-origin coffee experience. Anf the horse ride - that was crazy awesome. A little, just a little scary being the first time riding in such hilly terrain. But the view was so uplifting. I could have rode thorugh the mountains for the whole day !!! My 5 yr old rode tandem, and all others rode individually. Highly highly recommend it.
Finally, we did the trip with our kids ( 10 and 5) and it worked out fine. My kids are used to all kinds of travel expriences and can adjust ( as long as enough snacks are available :D), so they enjoyed it a lot. Imagined themselves to be cowboys and soldiers and warriors and policemen and all kinds of 'heroes' while on horseback. Andres made sure to accomodate them well. They also loved the simple colombia lunch we had at the farm. So if you are considering taking younger kids, I would encourage you ( speak to the company and they will help you out with requests).
A note to consider: The drive is a couple of hours through mountain terrain, and colombians drive fast even in that kind of terrain and turns. So if you have a bad case of motion sickness, hate long drives, or can't handle a little 'swashbuckling' drive, then rethink. For us, we had a little discomfort with the winding drive but rolling down the windows, taking a quick drink break kept it under control. But given a chance, I will do this trip all over again, and again. Totally, absolutely, completely loved it !

This was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of our trip!!! We could not have better things to say about it - our tour guide, Juan, was so amazing and knowledgable. We loved learning from him and had some amazing discussions altogether. Concordia is beautiful, and every step of the coffee tour was exquisite - from picking the berries ourselves, the breathtaking views of the coffee farm as we ascended up the mountains, seeing where the coffee is sold and packaged, and the AMAZING home cooked lunch at the end. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our group is still raving about this experience a month later. This is a must-do!!

Going on a tour with Andres was the best decision we made during our trip in Colombia. We learned so much about the coffee making process, the country, different regions and sooooo much more. The whole experience is something we will always remember.
Even if you not that much into coffee you will find this tour highly entertaining.

What a great trip with Andres!! We learned so much about coffee and had the best chicharron of the trip at his finca. Plus, if you’re up for it, you can drive on the back of his truck while you’re going up to the mountains to pick coffee…so fun!!

A tour that doesn't feel like a tour in the best possible way. We learned what the coffee process is actually like in Colombia, and picked and processed coffee fruits with our own hands. The scenery in this part of Antioquia is unlike anything. The food was incredible. Andres was the perfect tour guide for us and our interests such as birds, plants, etc. We felt we were in the best possible hands. We ended about a 12-day vacation in Colombia with this tour, and are so grateful for the experience and beautiful memories it left us.

I brought my husband and son with his new fiancée to Medellin as an early wedding present, and treated them to this tour and the city tour to Comuna 13. We had no idea how breathtaking the overall experience was going to be and it was the highlight of our vacation! Andres our guide has so much knowledge and such a desire to share his country with you...always able to answer our questions or share a fascinating story or two. At one point he took us to a vista on the on the coffee farms that gave us a 360 panorama of the countryside. We loved participating in the coffee harvesting process and seeing what all goes into its creation, and the lunch at the farm after was delightful. The drive to and from is not for the faint of heart - you'll be doing genuine 4-wheeling a few times but that's all part of the adventure! Do yourself a favor and book this tour. It's truly memorable.

This coffee tour was an absolute highlight of my time in Colombia! Spending all driving through the mountains and the countryside of Antioquia was just so amazing. Andres is an amazing tour guide and super knowledgeable about the coffee industry. We spend a whole day with him and the experience was fabulous from the beginning until the end. The scenery of the coffee region was breathtaking and you will not regret it!

My husband and I had an AMAZING time with Andrés, the day ended up being so much more than a coffee tour. We spent 8 days in Colombia (across Medellin & Cartagena) and this day was definitely the highlight of our overall trip. Andrés is a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgable - we learned a lot! It felt like we were touring around with a local friend, who went out of their way to make the day memorable, authentic, and fun! The sights were unbelievable and stunning and definitely not seen by the typical tourist.
