We organised a private day tour to Luxor from Sharm-El-Sheikh.
The organisation was terrible. It took me two weeks of chasing the company for them to finally confirm our booking & payment.
Two days before our tour I received a message telling me the day of our trip had changed, and we would be going tomorrow.
We only received details of pickup times, flight times etc. the evening before the tour.
Once we were in Luxor the tour went well, however trying to deal with the company was incredibly frustrating. Would not use them again.

I made the reservation for this activity approximately two and a half months in advance. I liked the idea of doing this visit in a full day and with a Spanish-speaking guide, as offered. I paid in advance with a credit card as specified.
The day before the private excursion, they sent me a message saying that they couldn't find a guide who spoke Spanish, therefore it was going to be an English-speaking guide. I asked them to try to find one who spoke Spanish or, failing that, Italian, but they told me that they couldn't, and if I wanted I could cancel the excursion and they would refund my money.
I told him that I had taken the excursion with enough time so that they could organize it, but I was faced with the situation of seeing Luxor with a guide in English or losing the opportunity completely. Obviously I went on the private tour, because I don't know if I will be able to return to Egypt another time. The guide tried to speak as clearly as possible so that we understood what he wanted to express, but in reality I understood less than half of the story he was telling us.
We were disappointed because less than 12 hours into the excursion they notified me of the problem and if I did not like the options they presented to me, I could ask for a refund.
The rest of the excursion, that is, transfers, air tickets, and lunch were fine.

Our guide, Ahmed, and our driver, Ramy, were phenomenal and very personable. The tour was really fun and very interesting. Ahmed was very engaging and tried super hard to make the experience as great as possible for everyone on the tour. We were able to see a lot in a short amount of time and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to come and visit Luxor.

Wonderful tour! Our tour guide, Mahmoud, is the best tour guide I've ever had. We covered so much and I really appreciate that because I felt my time was productive. The felucca was a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for history and adventure!
