This is arguably one of the better tours I have ever been to. Avo was beyond amazing and he has such great relation with all the local business he took us to. He is a seasoned pro that knows the industry. We were stuffed with all the amazing chocolates and waffle we had plus all that world class beer. Don’t walk, RUN and book this tour with Avo.

OMG. This is the best Brussels tour you can book. The tour guide gave us an experience we will never forget above and beyond the price. When i go there again, I will repeat this tour. He is amazing. On our tour he ran into a life logistics issue that it was reasonable for him to not be able to support our tour. We told him we could not move, but a refund was OK. instead of leaving us in a lurch, he provided our group a tour none-the-less! His dedication to service is unparalleled in the tour industry! It was both full of history and fun; coupled with chocolates, beer, and kinship. I cannot overemphasize the quality of this tour!

My wife and I were the only participants on the Tour, yet the Guide provided us with the same level of attention as he would have given to a larger group. We were extremely grateful for the Tour and highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to explore the essence of Brussels, as well as to learn about the fascinating history of beer and chocolate.

Avo’s knowledge of chocolate and beer making is amazing. He could explain not only the history of the products, but also explain the reason for the taste differences. This small tour is worth the time to do. As a mostly non beer drinker I was blown away with the fact that there are some fantastic beers out there! And as for the chocolates, well they were simply some of the best.

This was the best way we could have spent our one night in Brussels! My friend and I felt like we had a great taste of the city (literally and figuratively!) as a result. It was one of the highlights of our 10 day, 5 city Europe trip.
All of your food, drinks and chocolate are included in the price, which made it feel very reasonable. Grab a small lunch before, but we definitely didn't need dinner afterwards!
Avo was a great tour guide. He's been in the city and the industry for a long time, so he knows the best places to go and its obvious he has a great working relationship with the local businesses. On our way to all of the stops, he took time to point out some of the history and show the local attractions as well.
Worth noting, he was incredible conscientious about food allergies. He took a gluten and nut allergy in our group very seriously and went over and beyond to provided alternative suggestions and/or offerings.
A couple considerations: this tour does require a LOT of walking, so be prepared. It also does last longer than the advertised time, and based on other reviews, that seems to be the norm. Plan to be done closer to 7:30/8 instead of 6:30, but it was well worth it. We went on a Saturday, and most of the souvenir and chocolate shops were still open until 9, so we still had time afterwards to circle back and make a couple purchases.

If I can give this tour 6 stars, I totally will! Avo is super knowledge and we had such a great time on our tour. With this tour you get to sample Belgium's finest and Avo provided us with such detailed explanation for our information.
I would highly reommend this tour to anyone who would like to explore the city, understand the history and culture as well as sample all the different types of food and drinks Belgium offers!

Fantastic tour. Very intimate and a good balance of food. You do get more than beer and chocolate. Cannot recommend enough. Stay in Brussels for at least two days makes taking this tour easier and any chocolate shopping afterwards even easier.
