• The tour will begin at gate 5 of the Bodeguita Pier, in Cartagena. From there we will depart in the morning towards the Corales del Rosario Park in a journey of only 60 min.
• Disembarkation takes place at the Isla del Encanto hotel, from where you can start your tour of the island, either freely or guided.
• At lunchtime, sample the local flavors in a typical buffet-style meal.
• Between dips in the sea and in the pool, take the opportunity to rest on one of the loungers or hammocks that will add even more comfort to your experience standing on the sand.
• In the afternoon, we will start our way back to Cartagena directly to the Bodeguita pier

Bad experience. Terrible customer service. They sold us a dinner at Tierra Bomba for 540,000COP, where you pay the boarding fee, the drinks and it is only 1 meal (the most expensive on the menu costs 90,000). The food was stale, it smelled bad. Zero atmosphere, boring and Garzón is the cook and the DJ at the same time. Oh and also the supervisor.

They are unpunctual and get angry if you make them wait. Incredibly unfriendly, the tourist is pure money.
On each tour they constantly ask you for a tip for everything. We paid more than 2 million pesos on tours and if you also don't leave a tip they change the treatment towards you.
They wash their hands saying that it is not their fault, but they are the visible face and they sell the services even if they do not offer them.
I hope that with the commission they got from our contracted services, you can do the tours yourself so you can see how basic and disappointing they are.
DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS AGENCY.

The boat trip to Encanto Island takes around 50 minutes, leaving from Cartagena.
We paid COP 190,000.00 per person (I was able to pay by card), it included a welcome drink, a lunch that was well served, with a variety of salad, meat and dessert options and a drink (water or soft drink).
The island itself is quite boring and not as beautiful compared to other Rosário Islands, the beach is small, but the sea was very pleasant, calm and warmer water.
If you have no other tour option, it's worth the trip, but I would recommend other islands, such as Mulata and Palma.

The boat ride out was good. The day at the beach was remarkable with great cocktails, crystal clear water, and a great lunch. The down ide to the day was the crazy boat ride back to Cartajena. The water was rough. I know the tour operator is not responsible for Mother Nature, however, they should have a way to compensate for her to make the guests feel safe while travelling.

The staff was kind and attentive. The hotel was well kept and clean with many services (all paid extra). The food was good. The real problem with this tour is the location of the hotel (look it up on a map): it's not on the Caribbean side of Baru, but in the river side. Therefore the water is murky and not crystal clear as you may be expecting. I went on the snorkeling tour (paid extra) which was near the rosario islands and the water was crazy clear. Finally for what it cost (almost 150€ each) us we thought it was a bit expensive.

It was unorganized, terrible experience trying to get in the pier through the gate. Same with boarding the boat to head out to the island. At the island they charge for everything so take your own towels. Like everywhere in Cartagena there are people on the island trying to hustle you into buying junk. Boat ride back experienced choppy tides which caused boat to hit hard in the front. Food on the island was cheap buffet style. Don’t think it worthy of the high price.

My husband and I are 59 and 60, and our 19-year-old granddaughter came along. We did not want a party trip or a party atmosphere. This trip was full of family and elders.
The tour guides were friendly and fun, the boat ride was an hour long, each way, which was wonderful, especially being able to see the shoreline, historic site of Bocachica, and islands along the way.
The Encanto resort had plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas, and the white sand & swimming was wonderful and gorgeous! There was also a beautiful pool area that is mostly shaded, and was nice to have the option to cool off from the hot sun.
We were served a delicious buffet-lunch, and all of the staff at the resort were friendly and polite. Although there were options for side trips, such as the aquarium, snorkeling, or diving, we chose to spend the day at the resort.
I would do this tour again, if I ever make it back to Colombia.
