We had Luisa help us arrange a transfer from Rome to Positano with a stop in Pompeii. This could not have been easier!!!! We had the sweetest driver, Odilia, who helped us find our Pompeii guide and a quick lunch. Then our guide, Lucia, was AWESOME! She knew so much and I think maybe her command of the English language was better than ours! We then left for Positano shortly after the tour. This saved us an entire day on our trip visiting Pompeii, which we did when we came 20 years ago. And all we had to do was show up!
On the way back to Rome we had a similarly great (thought shorter) experience with the very elegant and kind driver, Lello. He was on time, considerate, a safe driver, and spoke perfect English. Our drive was again safe, comfortable, and easy (for us) as he navigated the crazy Amalfi Coast roads and motorcycle drivers.
Highly, highly recommend having Luisa and Sorrento Silverstar help you with your transfer and tour needs on the coast! We will definitely be back in contact with them!

Our experience with Sorrento Silver Star car service was spectacular. Roberto was our driver and he was awesome. Picked us up at our apartment in Rome with a stop at Pompeii where they hired a private guide for us….. and then Roberto found a wonderful local lunch spot after our Pompeii tour. After lunch, he drove us to Positano.
We have also booked a return trip from Positano to Rome with them. I can’t imagine booking a car service with anyone else. Highly recommend them!!

I can’t possibly recommend Luisa and the team at Sorrento Silver Star more highly. They absolutely went above and beyond to provide truly exceptional service at every turn and took the stressful guesswork out of it. Before and during our trip Luisa responded almost immediately to every inquiry and provided solutions. This included my last minute request for a driver from Sorrento to Naples. This is where the service reached an even higher level. Almost all the way to Naples we realized we had left our passports in the hotel safe in Sorrento. As we began to stress, our wonderful driver Paola calmed us and said she would handle it. Within 10 minutes another SSS driver had picked up the passports in Sorrento and was heading to meet us in Naples. Just incredible! If you are looking for extraordinary service that anticipates your every need for a private transfer or a tour, you must choose the team at Sorrento Silver Star!

Wonderful team and even arranged a private tour at Pompeii at the last minute. (I didn’t understand the the stop wasn’t a tour). They scrambled and put it all together on the way from Rome.

The tour was a great way to learn about Pompeii and the history of this incredible city. You'll get to see the highlights and hear stories from the guide Afterwards you will be able to explore the rest of the city on your own along with the useful map you are given upon entry.

We had the best experience on our trip with Roberto L . He picked us up from our hotel at Rome and took us to the port in Naples. His kindness was out of this world!! The 2 hour drive flew by as we chatted. He helped us buy tickets and escorted us to the boat when we arrived. Highly recommend !!

We had the privilege of having Roberto as our driver and he was superb. A local Neopolitan and years of experience in the area. (And this you can tell because everywhere we stopped - even security guards, tour guides, toll booth stations would salute him -ciao Robé). We love Sorrento Silver Star. It was very easy to book our private transfer from our hotel in Rome to our hotel in Positano with a stop in Pompeii. Luisa handled the online booking - very prompt and clear communication (we also booked private transfer back to Rome). She suggested the Pompeii stop and we did not regret it. Roberto was our driver - he was fantastic! On time, excellent driver, very knowledgeable, and we thought he was quite charming. He arranged for a lunch stop before we reached Pompeii - the best pizza we ever had! We had a great tour of Pompeii with Mena - we highly recommend her services. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Sorrento Silver Star - they made our trip very easy and enjoyable, and we would definitely book with them again. Five stars!
