This trip was what we wanted and more. The driver arrived very promptly to collect us, we headed into the mountains, wore traditional dress for a camel ride, had Moroccan tea on a rooftop, headed further up the mountain and stopped to take in the views, had breakfast (delicious bread and oils) at the women’s cooperative, where they make the oils, headed to Imlil, did a short hike (2.6k) to the waterfall and then had lunch, with the peak of the Atlas mountain in view, all expertly guided by Omar Imzilen. He was very informative, helpful and hospitable.

A very memorable day, thank you to Omar and our driver!

All of it was excellent. Loved the breakfast with peanut butter and beautiful lunch in Berber home. Atlas mountain was worth the hike and stunning waterfall at top. Amazed to see the cafe at top. Camel ride was a one off for me! Glad I did it though.

Myself and my dad had a fantastic day on this tour. The guides (Omar Imzilen and the driver, sorry I forgot his name) were prompt, knowledgeable and extremely helpful and friendly.

The camel ride was so much fun - my dad especially loved it. We got local tea afterwards which was great. After this we wound our way through the Atlas mountains with stunning views of rivers, waterfalls, local villages and desert. We stopped at a women's cooperative where they make argan oil and have us a late breakfast of bread and dips (olive oil, argan oil, and a peanut paste) - delicious!

After this we went higher into the mountains along winding roads past donkeys, goats, horses and sheep. The hour long (slightly steep at the start but VERY manageable) walk was such a highlight. The views were stunning - we got to see Berber villages nestled in the valleys, a wonderful waterfall, and the highest peak in north Africa.

On we headed to the guide's grandparents house for a massive lunch of tangine, couscous, vegetables and bread. The quantities were massive and the food delicious! Then, a lovely drive back to the city through the mountains.

All in all it was a great day and my dad has been raving about how much fun it was. Don't hesitate and please book this trip. There are other more touristy companies but this is run by Omar and his cousin and was much more personal. Oh, and it was a little cooler in the mountains than in Marrakech so bring a light jacket. Enjoy!

What an amazing trip! Definitely the best trip I’ve ever done, our driver was amazing and made it an incredible experience, could not believe the price for what a great day it was, 100% recommend to any one looking at trips in Morocco. You begin your day having breakfast (fresh bread and homemade peanut butter, olive oil and olives) then shown how argan oil is made which was incredible, then off to the mountains, once their we had lunch with a Moroccan family and it was a fantastic meal, was absolutely lovely and they were such a kind, accommodating family, we then went to the camels which again was great, went with my partner, my mum, sister, and my two nieces 3 and 4, and it was a great day had by all, lots of stops on the way for photos. Really can’t recommend this enough

Excellent communication upon booking and and collection. Mustafa, an educated business man and a good man, also an authentic ‘Berban’, whatsapped me in advance to let me know the collection details.

We started the day by visiting a group of ladies on the way to the Atlas Mountains who served us tea, peanut butter and olive oil with fresh bread. They showed us how the make their Argan oil products. There was an opportunity to buy some products at fair prices, (fyi they had a card machine and a cute cute kitten).

We then headed to the mountains to Mustafa’s home valley and shared a traditional tajine with the group on a terrace surrounded by the mountains.

I didn’t go on the actual treck to the waterfall myself but the pictures from the group were beautiful. I opted to stay back with the driver Abdoul and cool off in the stream. There are local shops: cafes to buy souvenirs. Don’t be afraid to haggle.

Once the group came back from the falls, we drove to Agafay for the camel ride. The animals were well treated, well kept, well fed which was great to see as there are so many that don’t. The ride was approx 30mins.

It was a long day: being flip flops and appropriate walking/ hiking shoes. Some of the trails were rubble/ rocky.

This day ain’t for the faint hearted: possibility of altitude/ travel sickness but Mustafa and Abdoul were incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful.

I will definitely be recommending this guide and visiting again in the future.
