Best history lesson ever. Kilmet was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The transportation was spacious and exceptionally clean. We were able to see so many amazing things. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide for the day, Clement, arrived at our hotel at 7:30 a.m. as promised. We were off to a great start! Clement provided a nice tour of Paris, pointing out important sights, monuments, etc. along the way as he made his way through and out of the city. We stopped for coffee and restrooms a couple of hours into the trip. Clement provided much good historic WW2 and D-Day background as we drove to Normandy and he brought things to life for us as he guided us at every stop along the way. We got to walk on Omaha Beach and pick up a few shells from the sand! The visit to the Normandy American Cemetery was very touching for us. We stopped for a quick bite of delicious lunch at a restaurant that Clement recommended. This day from Paris to Normandy and back far exceeded our expectations!!! Oops….forgot to mention the cider tasting stop…..lovely place and fun experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A fantastic day with Agnes. We loved our tour of the beaches and learned so many wonderful insights. She was especially good to engage and include everyone. Lunch next at the castle was a highlight for everyone.

This tour was absolutely perfect. It’s a long day because it’s about a 3 Hour drive from Paris to Normandy, but it’s with your own personal driver and a very nice van so it was quite comfortable and we had four adults and two children. The tour perfectly hit all of the highlights that we wanted to see in Normandy, including some lunch and a quick stop for some cider. It was quite the perfect day and our tour guide Gilles was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Our guide, Gilles Lorand, was very knowledgeable of the region and provided an excellent historical account of the DDay invasion. Gilles shared that he does extensive research when planning his tours which provides an accurate account of the events leading up to the invasion. As an American citizen, I was very impressed by the dedication of the French to maintaining the American cemetery to honor the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our Freedom. The tour was a Bucket List item for us and it exceeded our expectations.

Gilles Lorand, with Finding France, was our tour guide for the DDay Beaches private tour of Normandy. Gilles was very knowledgeable of the region and provided an excellent historical account of the DDay invasion. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and humorous which made our tour extremely enjoyable. Our minivan was comfortable and clean and Gilles provided us with water for our trip. In addition, he took us to a distillery for apple cider/ wine tasting which was great fun! We highly recommend Gilles if you are planning a trip to the Beaches of Normandy or any tours around Paris. Gilles prepares his presentation after extensive research which provides a more accurate account of the events of the DDay invasion. This tour exceeded our expectations!!

We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the tour. Agnes was a wonderful guide and host, providing a strong depth of knowledge on D-Day, the sites as well as the backdrop that led-up to the battles at and around Normandy. Her willingness to tailor the experience to the group was great for our 3 children.

We had a lovely driver and guide for our day trip to Normandy, Gilles. He gave us background on WWII, and details of the American invasion even before we got to the beaches. It was interesting to see the bunkers and barricades. Buy the most moving part was the visit to the American cemetery. Thank you Gilles for making this a pleasant and memorable day. I can't believe he drove us from our hotel to Normandy and back in one day, and was set to go again the next day. And he was a great driver and a delightful person to spend the day with.
