Easy way to visit the baths, started with a coffee break about an hour out of Santiago, we reached the baths before the crowds, stayed for two hours, stopped for an optional lunch, casa de chocolate, and finished with a wine and cheese tasting before heading back. A few photo op stops along the way as well. Really nice day trip.

The first half of the day was great: the scenery as we drove through the Andes was incredible, and we really enjoyed the hot pools. The views from the pools were stunning, they were not unpleasantly busy and we had plenty of time to enjoy them at our own pace. The rest of the trip was a little disappointing- the lunch restaurant was okay but overpriced, and the rest of the stops just felt like fillers to draw the day out, or to get us to spend money. We think the tour would have been much better as just a half day to visit the pools and the scenery on the way- for that we would have given 5 stars!

Amazing value for money as you have many stops during the day. The hot springs were very enjoyable and the views were outstanding! Gonzalo was very informative as he told us about the mountain ranges and rivers!

This was the best trip we did in Chile. It was less expensive than other experiences and yet was also way better. We saw so many different things and were given plenty of time to explore on our own. We walked around a small town, hiked a bit behind the hot springs, and had a nice long soak. Highly recommend! Just be sure to bring some snacks in case you get hungry throughout the day!

The thermal baths were a unique experience! The ride there was already an adventure and the place itself was amazing. There was also a surprise visit to a beautiful chocolateria and our guide was very kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

Salvador our guide did a great job. He was busy translating the tour between Portuguese for most of the participants and English for us - but he did a great job. Paolo (I think) was our driver and they picked us up at our hotel at 6:20 am (we stayed in Providencia). On the way back from Maipo we stopped at a beautiful Chocolatier (charming house - an Austrian man built it for his son) and enjoyed some ice cream and tasty gourmet chocolates. We stopped at a small town San Jose de Maipo on the way back for an hour to stroll and explore the sleepy town. I wish this stop was only for 15 minutes instead of an hour as we returned to Santiago smack in the middle of rush hour. Great value, and all in all a fun trip, just wish we didn't stop at San Jose for the whole hour.
