Words can not express how impressed I was with this experience. Our tour guide, Hatem, and our Captain, made the experience unforgettable. Hatem gave us fun facts about the Nile and was so easy to talk to. Our Captain was so kind and helped me wife and I take pictures while the evening progressed. I would highly recommend this cruise and the crew that made this experience possible!

Was a great trip. The guide will pick you up by the felucca from your hotel, sail to the Banana Island, have a lunch or dinner and then sail back to the hotel during the sunset. Very relaxing for people who like peaceful trips.
My guide was Medo, who was amazing and cooperative during the trip.

This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Luxor. It was private and very relaxing. The views of the Nile during Golden Hour were unmatched. The food was good at Banana Island. Tommy, our tour guide, gave us a great talk on Egyptian flora and fauna. Our captain (Heidi Felucca) brought out his drum and serenaded us with a traditional Egyptian song. 100% recommend

The Felucca Ride and Banana Island was a very magical tour. Our tour guide Hatem and the crew of the felucca made our experience perfect. Hatem accompanied us around the Banana Island and explained us about the typical vegetation and fruits of the area, and he was also very attentive to us so at the lunchtime. The crew of the felucca was also really nice, they gave us some tea and were attentive to make sure that we had a great and relaxed time with beautiful views to the Nile river. They recommended us to navigate the river Nile at the sunset and it was a really good choice!! Highly recommended if you want to relax on the Nile River and with the magical light of Egypt.

The Feluca ride is a really nice way to expirience the Nile and its surroundings.
Hatem makes this expirience even more personal, his grate knowledge of the area makes you enjoy every bit of it, the plants in banan Island, the constructions in Luxor to provide with clean water to the city, you can ask he will know!
Even if the local food is really good, and the visit to the island wonderfull, the Felucca ride takes the price!
The sunset in the nile is amazing while enjoying tea and the company of the crew or relaxing on top of the Felucca, it is defenetly quite magical. Hatem and the Egipt Gift Tours know how to manage the ride to accomodate the mood (I have done it twice and if you ask good enought maybe you can even swim in the nile :O )

The strong points :
- WhatsApp communication
- the captain of the felucca Adli, the REAL highlight of the excursion, who takes great care throughout the excursion. He serves as a guide, photographer, and exchanges his knowledge with kindness and making the effort to speak French although we understand his English.
- the meal of your choice and very generous.
- sunset
The weak spots :
- Banana Island which is in fact not an island but just a field that we just crossed via its central path to take us to the zoo.
- the little zoo (heartbreaking)
- too many people on the felucca (4 people for 2 tourists) for a private excursion
- Mido (our WhatsApp contact and surely the boss?) who spent 3 hours on the phone without speaking with us and broke the silence and the magic of the sunset and the entire excursion.
