We took the Reykjavik food tour, and it was worth every kronur. Our guide David was outgoing and friendly and bright, and told us a lot about life in the city and in Iceland in general. It was our first full day in the city, and we needed a friendly English-speaking introduction, and David provided it. Well done!

Disa was a great tour guide! I would recommend this food tour to family and friends. My favorite restaurant was Sjavargrillid, the best Langoustine tacos.

What a fun and delicious tour we had with Bergur. Felt like hanging out with a local friend, had great laughs and we were also mesmerized about all the facts on Icelandic culture, his personal stories and experiences, the music scene and cool facts. Bergur was just AMAZING and the food, incredible. I was worried it would be too much food but it was perfect, even had the fermented shark which was good fun.

Our guide, “Burger”, was fantastic. Great conversation, great local food recommendations, great drink suggestions. Visited five local eateries tasting local cuisine and drink while Burger provided us with Icelandic history, folklore and culture.

Dina, wow, what a host, full of smiles and energy, really informative about food traditions and methods of cooking, a great host in each restaurant and got the whole group enjoying the experience together.
The diversity of food we tried was great, the venues varied and the historical tour of the area was fabulous! Thank you Dina for making our memories..... Cheers

We had a wonderful tour with Thor! He was very clear, organized and kept us on time. We never felt rushed, was very patient and enjoyed sharing time with everyone in the group. We went to 5 restaurants that really represented local foods of Iceland. There was a vegetarian in our group but it seems that each restaurant could accommodate for this. My favorite by far is Sjávargrillið . I've never had Langoustine that was so tender. Fermented Shark is certainly not as bad as I thought especially with a shot of local Vodka. This tour was such a great introduction to Iceland since this was our first trip. No book can provide you with a good understanding of Rekyavik/ Iceland in general.

The tour guide (Brinn -sp?) was delightful. She was bubbly and welcoming and full of great stories. I learned a lot about Icelandic culture. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a culture tour, it was a food and drink tour and it failed at that. This is NOT a tour for people who are serious about food. We had two interesting dishes at one restaurant, a taco at a pub, and carrot cake at a hole in the wall. It was paired with a glass of generic red or white wine and choice of beers. This did nothing to expose my tastebuds to the amazing culinary scene in Iceland. Very disappointing.

The food tour is a must try for tasting Icelandic cuisine, especially those who don’t have a lot of time to explore the city.
Disa was the perfect guide! Very knowledgable and extremely engaging with the group. She is so well versed with the cuisine of the group as well and it was interesting to hear personal anecdotes and historical details on Icelandic cuisine.
