Having visited the Louvre on previous trips to Paris in my younger years as a student of art history, I knew that the experience can be overwhelming and exhausting. First time to Paris as a family with our teen with interest in history, but no background knowledge of art history I decided we needed to go with a private guide. I had learned about Boris through a favorite podcast and it was a wonderful experience. He customized the tour to our interests and kept everyone engaged.

This was the best your guide we have had in Paris! We spent 2 hours w/Mila. She is very upbeat, energetic and her English is easy to follow. She explained about the history of the louvre, and really knows her art history. We wish we had booked 4 hours w/her to see the whole museum!

We had struggled to find our way to the meeting location and were able to connect with the tour company to get clear instructions so we could arrive at the correct location. We made the mistake of going to the Arch de Triumph in the center of Paris and the tour start point was the smaller version of this iconic structure at the Louvre.
Once we arrived, we were met with a difficult and uncontrollable situation that had the museum closed with no entry. Our guide Mila, was absolutely amazing because even though she could not get us in right away, she still took the opportunity to take us around the grounds and start walking us through the incredible history of the Louvre, the grounds and city. It was so enjoyable and informative. In about an hour the Louvre finally opened its doors and she was able to take us inside to see some the wonderful pieces of art and architecture that she was explaining on the outside. She took additional time out of her schedule to make sure my husband and I had the chance to see everything we wanted to inside. Her knowledge, explanations and personality brought the history to life and turned a very difficult experience into a wonderful memory. My husband and I would highly recommend this experience and this tour guide if you want to have your our experience at the Louvre.

Despite many options for a private tour of the Louvre we are extremely pleased with our decision. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, very intelligent and had a vast understanding of the museum itself as well as accommodated our interest in what we should see. We highly recommend Boris, and assure anyone that they will not be disappointed. We will book him again on one our next trips.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience. I enjoy museums a lot, but my wife is not a big fan. This experience was a game changer. Our guide made the museum experience personal and deliberate. He was outstanding at engaging what was relavent and important to us as a couple and us as individuals. By the end of the tour my wife was raving about the experience and wanted to adventure in the Louvre for hours more. If I could give this a 10/5 I would.

Overall a great private tour. However, the confirmation email or ticket did not provide the meeting place for the tour. Trying to locate this specific tour on the website to determine the meeting site was difficult; the website search function would not bring up this specific tour to find the meeting location. Further, the meeting location is under construction making the directions somewhat irrelevant. I came across our tour guide by luck. The cost of this tour was too much to not clearly state the meeting location.
