After the huge success and very positif feedbacks Kawtar got for her cooking class, she decided to come up with this new experience and offer you the chance to spend an afternoon with her and her family for a typical Moroccan tea time. During this afternoon, we will share together a traditional moroccan tea, you will get to taste our home made local pastries and also if you desire we will teach you how to cook/prepare them.

We look forward to receive at our home and will host you with great pleasure.

Very good family experience, very well received and informed.

Being a chef, I would like to discover the making of Moroccan pastries 😉.
My daughter had a lot of fun working the dough by hand, the welcome was perfect.

One point of improvement for our guests: allowing them to choose which pastries they want to make 👌.

Best wishes

Nicholas

Friendly oriental pastries class, we prepared 2 different pastries (imposed choice: almond cakes and fekkas), in a calm and studious atmosphere.
Then we were able to taste them with mint tea in an adjoining Moroccan lounge and take away what was left, which was a good quantity :)
Just one downside: the price remains a little expensive (139€ for 4 people, duration around 2 hours).
Point of improvement: sending the recipes at the end of the course would be a plus.

We attended a baking class for two, my friend and I, and we loved the concept! We were welcomed by Kawtar and then Oumaima took over to introduce us to Moroccan pastries. It was truly an incredible experience, I highly recommend!

The welcome was wonderful and warm. We got to do the tea ceremony with a large group, and then the group split into those doing the cooking class and the pastry class.
For the pastries it was fun making and mixing everything, but also learning the techniques for shaping, decorating and baking the cookies. And you get to bring plenty home to snack on for the rest of your trip.

Operator will try to change the time on you and will disregard the time posted on the Viator listing. Be prepared to miss the experience entirely because they choose to go off of a different time. They have not refunded me and I’ve reported them to Viator.

We had a fun time baking two quite different types of Moroccan cakes/pastries. We also learnt about how to make Moroccan mint tea, properly & got to have this with our warm bakes from the oven, which were delicious. Authentic & our cook:guide spike excellent English.

Great to be in a Moroccan home and welcomed by auntie and sister too. Class was fun, relaxing (yes being creative) and easy to follow. It was great to hear stories and traditions. I made two types of biscuits 🍪 using coconut and orange and the fennel and aniseed. Both were absolutely delicious. My fellow riad travellers enjoy them too. Great teacher. Many thanks.

When I travel I always take a cooking class. This was one of the best intimate classes that I’ve taken. In the class you learn about the Moroccon traditions of baking cookies for weddings and events. What a great hands on experience making the same pastries you see all over the souls.

We joined the pastry making class and spent a lovely afternoon learning how to make a variety of sweet treats. Once baked, we learnt how to make mint tea and then enjoyed tasting everything. We would thoroughly recommend the class. Thank you Miriam and Selma.

This pastry class was very fun! I booked it last minute for my mother's birthday and Katwar was nice enough to schedule one for me and my mother last minute. We learned to make cookies and had tea with the instructor (Maryam) and Katwar’s sister afterward. I highly recommend this class for anyone wanting to learn to make the yummy pastries found in Morocco. It was a perfect afternoon! Thanks again!
