Riding a bike with your guide into the old part of the city of Delhi in the early morning is a once and a life time experience. This 3-hour biking tour rides into the ruins of the once glorious city comprising the impressive Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and then back to the lanes to see the city as it wakes-up, dusting, brushing to get ready for the day. This was the best way to start our holiday in India, to introduce us to so many new experiences and it gave us the confidence to enjoy the country for the rest of our stay.
We were taken to parts of the old city we would never have dreamed we could access, and we felt safe all the time, even riding through the busier streets at the end of our tour. Great food and tastings along the way, bikes were in great condition (comfortable seats) and helmets were provided.
This was low effort cycling, you just need mobility and your wits about you - and keep ringing your bell.
Our guides were excellent, friendly, communicative, patient and engaging.

Vishnu was an excellent guide with high skilled knowledge about the history and religiob as well as archtecture and food details. I really enjoyed the tour with all the aspects presented.

How best to see and learn about the old city of Delhi? Answer with an early morning tour with Tenzin and Old Delhi by Bike tours.
The experience is exhilarating- cycling through the narrow lanes (using your bell in the polite Indian way), navigating the cows, cars, dogs, street sellers, motorbikes etc . It’s 6:30 in the morning and the place is already vibrant with life. Tenzin at the front and his assistant at the back ensure you are safe and accounted for at every turn. The cycling is beautifully interspersed with stops for informative gems from Tenzin on the history of the area. Stops at the wholesale spice market for Chai (recommend add ginger) and breakfast at a back street restaurant only add to the whole experience.
I would thoroughly recommend Tenzin and his tour for an enlightening, informative, invigorating ( you feel a real buzz experiencing cycling in Delhi) and enjoyable experience.

This is an excellent way to explore the historic district. The guide, Darmesh, infused the area with vitality through his commentary and the secret locations he revealed. The district can be bustling with its narrow streets and heavy traffic, yet he remained composed throughout, making cycling around a enjoyable and memorable experience. I would love to do this tour again and would highly recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful bike tour with Tenzin and his colleague. You will see places where you would never come if you are on your own. The breakfast is in a small local place and is also a nice experience. Highly recommended!

Even I have been in India many times and Delhi as well, yesterday I spent the morning with some amazing People doing the trip Old Dehli by Bike. Totally worthy and recommended to have another view of that part of Dehli. With Tenzin and Dharmesh it was an incredible experience, both warm
, very friendly and experienced guys that make day very safe and enjoyable. I could do it again. Thanks both of you and also the two Amazing New Zealand's girls.

I was the only one who booked the art tour that morning so our guide Tenzin offered an interesting alternative of doing the Tibet Colony tour plus a motorcycle version of Lodhi Art District tour which turned out to be (highly probably more) fun, not only content-wise (2 tours), but also with a bit more speed/thrill regarding the motorcycle part. Yet just as the other guide Dharmesh puts it, you have to like to be on the backseat of a motorcycle in/ through Dehli. It felt quite safe for me and really fun. Many thanks and I recommend both tours!

Old Delhi is chaotic at the best of times and it really is easy to lose your bearings or just get overwhelmed!
The best way to see the sights of Old Delhi for us was to take the wonderful Old Delhi by bike tour with Tenzin and Dhermish.
We had such a wonderful and fun time weaving around the crowded and congested streets on our two wheelers while getting entertained by Tenzin and the sights around us.
Tenzin is one nice guy! The communication before the tour was excellent and he is such a genuine guy, we always felt safe and never felt we were going somewhere where he was going to benefit from a kickback.
We told him we had already done a food/cultural walk so he tailored made a tour on the spot and took us to some amazing out of the way locations where we hadn’t been.. some amazing roof tops that gave us a wonderful views and the walk thru a spice “factory” that was so different to what we had done.
He also picked up that we loved food and turned it into a mini biking street food tour..amazing.
In the end it was like having a chat to a friend as he showed you around his local “hood”
I can go and on about the fantastic time we had but the best thing I can say to you is Just do this tour.. it is really fun and I’m sure you will have a blast!
We would like to thank Tenzin and Dhermish for being such wonderful hosts and wish them and their families and the business all the best .. they really are top people and deserve their stellar reputation on TripAdvisor.
** note: we are quite confident riding bikes in urban areas so didn’t find the biking at all worrying, however if you are not confident on the bike I’m sure you would still be very well looked after.
