Join us for a leisurely discovery of Byron Bay's finest!
We kick things off at 11 AM and will head to 3 local Breweries and a Distillery. Or 2 breweries and 2 distilleries.
Also includes a large tasty Lunch. We also cater for all dietaries.
At each Brewery and Distillery, we will get to taste a large selection of their Beers and Spirits on offer. With a guided tasting at each and 15-20 drinks in total throughout the day (all included)
Not a beer drinker? No problem you can substitute for cider, wine or seltzer
We visit any 4 of the following Breweries and distilleries which include:
Stone and Wood brewery
Byron Bay Brewery
Seven Mile Brewery
Lord Byron Distillery
Cape Byron Distillery
Common people brewing
Wandana brewing
Husk distillery

I thoroughly enjoyable day with Ben our driver and host. A good selection of distilleries and breweries on the day. There was something for the entire group of 15 people.

Fantastic tour.
Jarryd made everything so easy with the booking process, pick up and drop off at our accommodation made it stress free while Edward our driver was friendly and happy to accommodate our needs.
Our favourite place was Cape Byron Distillery - beautiful views, great story about how the farm and distillery came about and we all loved the gin (and whiskey)!

Jumped at the chance of a free babysitter (thanks mum!) and celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary by taking the full barrel tour. As a former local of the area, I was really keen to see a few of the notable distilleries and breweries that have popped up on the Far North Coast over the past decade. Jarryd was a great tour guide - personable, funny and very knowledgeable about the places we visited and the various drinks we imbibed (oh yes, there was a few!). Tastings at each location included a chat from one of the brewers, with lots of interesting facts about the history of the place and the drinks on offer. Jarryd kindly dropped us off at the front door and we needed a bit of a lie down and a kebab! Such a great day out! Would totally recommend!

I went on the all day tour with my partner and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Jarryd was very informative and laid back - we loved the stories behind each venue we visited, the tastings were generous and delicious.
If you go on this tour I highly recommend getting the pina colada cocktail at the lord Byron rum distillery, it was as good as they said it is :)

10 out of 10! All the places were amazing, the staff were perfectly attentive and the food, and mostly drinks were delicious. Jarrod was exceptionally amazing, super friendly and in general a legend!

The Behind the Barrel Tour was an absolute blast! With a group of 20 friends, we had an incredible time exploring, learning, and tasting. Jarryd from Behind the Barrell Tours has everything sorted for you so just sit back relax & enjoy the day! Highly recommended for a fun, effortless and enjoyable day!

An incredible trip! A really great introduction to the local alcohol scene and I highly valued Jarryd’s insight into each venue and the hospitality we received was out of this world! Would do a tour again in a heartbeat!
