1. Kinkakuji Temple
It is a temple famous for its building called 'Kinkaku Sariden'. Unfortunately it was burned down in the 1950 fire, but it was rebuilt in 1955 almost as it was.The three-tiered luxurious Kinkaku (Shariden) has gilded gold foil in the second and third layers. Kinkaku is a unique structure that uses different architectural styles for each layer.
2. Kiyomizu-dera Temple
Kiyomizu temple was first constructed during the early part of the Heian period and is believed to date back on the year 768.
3. Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings.It has been worshiped by many people for 1300 years. It has been revered as a god of business prosperity, home security, and fulfillment of all kinds of wishes.
4. Bamboo Forest Street
From Nomiya Shrine to the Okawachi Sanso Garden, approximately 400 meters of bamboo forest. A bamboo forest that extends high enough to cover the sky continues.There is an extra charge, but you can also enjoy the scenery while riding a rickshaw. If you are interested in it, please inform the guide when booking a tour or on the day.
5. Nijo Castle
You can see the ruins of the Momoyama culture that has been around 400 years, such as the Ninomaru Palace, the Ninomaru Garden, and the Karamon Gate. It is Nijo Castle registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. This castle is a valuable historical heritage that has witnessed the rise and fall of the Tokugawas and the long history of Japan.
6. Togetsukyo Bridge
"It is a wooden bridge with a length of 155m and a width of 11m over the Katsura River. The combination of Togetsu Bridge over the gently flowing Katsura River and Arashiyama behind it is a superb view. You can feel the beauty of the four seasons throughout the year."
7. Tenryuji Temple
Tenryu-ji Temple is located in the famous tourist destination of Arashiyama, Kyoto. It is a World Heritage Site as one of the cultural assets of the ancient capital Kyoto.
8. Ryoanji Temple
"The Karesansui Rock Garden in this temple is world famous. One of the highlights of the site is the Kyoyochi pond,which is famous for its water lily, which will reach its peak in May and July."
9. Sanjusangendo Temple
Sanjusangendo was built in 1164 by Goshirakawa, the then emperor of Japan. Many national treasures are lying in this shrine.There is an architectural feature that there are 33 pillars in the hall extending in the north and south.
