Visit this labyrinth of corridors, caves and chambers carved out of the rock at Wieliczka.
Wieliczka Salt Mine is a perfect day out, in operation since the 13th century. The mine today has been visited by more than 40 million people and was recognized as one of the original World Heritage Sites named by UNESCO.
The mine reaches a depth of 327 meters and is over 287 kilometers long. Marvel at beautiful statues and other art carved directly into the salt rock.

Pawel was our driver to the salt mine
And what a pleasure it was
He was very polite, courtious, helpful and answered all.our questions we had about the amazing country of Poland
He even recommended places for us to go for food ( as my friend and I have both have gastric surgery and was not wanting to waste alot of food ) he asked had we been to the Jewish part and where was best to go and eat around there also
Nothing was to much trouble
He made our trip to the salt mines a very pleasant journey and was there on time once we had finished our tour

Brilliant trip 800 steps down to 135 m underground you come up in elevator they do have disabled access

Great service picked up and time and loads of information regarding krakow sent to us. I my return to krakow I will be using Pawel again. Would recommend to all. used guilded tours for one tour, not again, was dropped off miles from hotel. This company was by far better to use.

We went with Marek from Thousand Miles and what a great experience it was from start to finish.
Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable with lots of local insights.
The Salt Mines were amazing a must do when in Krakow.
We got dropped off in Jewish Quarter on way back and we followed Marek"s many local recommendations for food and beer!
Overall a five star experience!

We booked this trip prior to our arrival and are so glad we did. It really was hassle free from start to finish. The company kept the hotel informed of pick up times etc and them our driver Pawel confirmed this later that night via whats app. Pawel was on time to pick us up and was really helpful, he sent me lots of links of places to check out during our stay in Krakow which was really appreciated. The tour itself was really good and well worth seeing. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the museum as we didn't have time with our pick up ...perhaps thats something the tour company could factor in going forward especially when it is paid for in the price. All in all though a really good tour and would definitely use the company again.

Went to the salt mines with our driver Maciek.He picked us up ahead of time and made the journey very pleasant and informative. The guide inside the mine was great.

Pawel was amazing, arrived on time in a very clean van. On the way to the salt mines pointed out things and told us about the sights. He made sure we were at the right place for the tour commencement then was there at the end of the tour. We had spare time so he took us to do more sight seeing, so we saw more than we would of.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him for yr tour. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon Pawel.

Pawel was our driver for the tours for Auschwitz and salt mines. He was absolutely fantastic!! We got messed around with our tours and he went out of his way to help us with Auschwitz told us what blocks to go and see, 100% recommended him, also sent me some recommendations for restaurants and places to go but we ran out of time so when I come back definitely ask for him !

We were collected promptly from our hotel and taken to the Salt Mine. Panel was so friendly and informative. He ensured we entered the venue ok before making arrangements to collect us afterwards. The salt mines were fabulous and we had a great guide who spoke perfect English with humour. When we finished our tour Pawel was waiting exactly where agreed. Fantastic tour.

The communication from Tomek the night before was so friendly...this was extended to the whole time we spent with him.
He was a good, safe driver, punctual, and dropped us back at our apartment as raining. When I left my phone in his car he drove back to return it.
Tomek shared local knowledge on the outward and return journey. He waited with us to ensure our tickets worked.
Inside the salt mines our tour guide was a different Tomek. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and with a sense of humour.
The mines are amazing....definitely worth a visit!
Only disappointment was the cafe. Staff not as friendly and warm as the Tomek, food tasty but not hot, just warm. No sugar free drinks which wasn't helpful for my diabetic friend.
