Gregor, our guide, was very relaxed and accommodating. Ideal on a private tour. He even offered to let us borrow cash when we ran out at the delicious cheese stop. The baths were part of a hotel: very professional, calm and unhurried. Gregor agreed to take us back to our hotel via Nowa Huta so we saw some of the soviet sights: a highlight for a history buff. Zakopane was a disappointment in that although the views were stunning, it was extremely commercialised (especially at the top of the hill).

This day trip to Zakopane was pretty enjoyable and relaxing. Bartek the driver was really friendly and on time, he also speaks English very well.
Recommend for someone who wants to have a stress-free day.

I booked this tour because many of my friends had told me how beautiful Zakopane was. I had no idea what to expect. I initially felt the price was steep - being penalised for being a solo traveller. However, it was worth it. Sure there are alternatives - bus, Train, hire car, and all would likely be cheaper but they certainly would have been more hassle.
I was picked up at 08:00 by Kuba, Who explained the days plan. As we travelled, Kuba answered any Questions I had, and pointed out interesting land marks. First stop was Chocholów. A little town full of Wooden homes. It did have an Alpine feel to it. Made more so by the falling snow. I was left to wonder about and take pictures before I returned back to the minibus. Kuba told me how the owners wash the houses twice a year (Christmas and Easter). At Zakopane, Kuba took me to the Funicular. I was given plenty of tome to go to the top, look around and get something to eat. I love snow, so my day was made all the better for it snowing. Sadly, this ment that I couldn’t see the wonderful views I’d been promised. Kuba has advised me to try the local Cherry Vodka and try the Dumplings. Both were lovely and warming. Back at the Minibus, we headed to the Thermal Baths. Once Kuba had seen I got in safely, I had a whole 2.5 hours to chill. 3 outdoor pools and one indoor. Whilst after about 2 hours I had had enough, I loved the pools, the heat, and the swimming in the snow. A very relaxing experience. It was extremely difficult for me to keep my eyes open heading home, I admit I had a few minutes power nap. I was returned back to my hotel, tired, but relaxed.
Whilst being solo is ok, a couple would live this trip. A tip - take some flip flops for walking around the pool and from pool to pool.

Awesome day in the Polish mountains. Kuba was an great driver...was right on time to pick us up. Recommended many delights to try in Zakopane. Highly recommend this excursion. Great local street market, delicious flavored vodka and lunch, wonderful indoor outdoor hot springs...Kuba hooked us up with some snowmobiling at sunset. Thank you Welcome in Krakow and Kuba....love private tours. Totally worth the money.

The trip to Zakopane was fantastic. This wS made even better by our guide Viktor nothing was too much trouble. The terms was very relaxing after sometime viewing the tatra mountains and playing in the snow, not to mention eating cheese and cranberry.
Viktor was informative and polite would highly recommend him as a private tour guide.

Thanks to Victor our fab driver and the amazing polish countryside we had an amazing day.
It started with a very prompt pick up in a nice clean car. Victor was very friendly and accommodating. He had lots of local knowledge and his English was very good. Although it is a very long drive Victor kept us entertained by making little stops and pointing out interesting things. Once we got to zakopane and went up the mountain the view was beautiful. The kids had a great time playing in the snow and looking at the stalls. From there it was a short drive to the thermal spa. We could easily have spent longer here. There's something special about being in a steaming pool with snow all around. A word the wise though everyone wears flip flops or pool sliders and we were conspicuous in not having them. Also the entry to the pools is through the men's and ladies showers/toilets. We wandered for ages trying to work out how to get in!!

Overall I would 100% recommend this tour.

The tour was ok but not fantastic. The best part was our driver, Victor, who had a great and talkative personality. On the way to Zakopane, we made a short stop at Chocolow, noted for its wooden houses, but really, there is not much there. We went into a small house depicting how life was in the past. A woman talked to us about everything that was there, then at the end, asked for 6 zloty per person. She should have told us this up front. Our next stop was Zakopane, which was extremely crowded with people. We stopped at the first restaurant we saw to get out of the frigid cold. Wait staff there was surly and unaccommodating, and we were pressed for time to get back to Victor. The last stop was the Bukovina Spa, not the one in Chocolow which we had thought was where we were going. Bukovina was bigger and better, Victor said. It was more like a water park, not like the thermal spas in Budapest or other countries. Lots of families and children. Confusing locker rooms. NO towels available to rent, so bring your own or you will end up purchasing a towel in the gift shop for 12 USD, like we did. It was kind of a madhouse. Water was not all that hot, more like lukewarm. All in all, it was a pleasant enough day, but nothing I would recommend or would do again.

Yes, definitely. My friend and I booked this trip less than 24 hours in advance! Our driver, Viktor was at our accommodation before 9AM ready to collect us! We were running a little bit behind in the morning but Viktor had absolutely no problem waiting for us! He also kindly stopped off so we could get coffee for the journey!
He was very polite and talkative, informing us of many historic things as well as places to visit and things to do in krakow. He even stopped for us on the way back so we could get a picture of the stunning sunset!
We travelled to Zakopane which was absolutely beautiful. It’s around 2 hours from krakow but worth the journey for the stunning views.
Thank you for an amazing day Viktor.
