My husband and I took this tour on June 12th with the tour guide, "Roger". He was extremely knowledgeable and funny. The group started with 24 people but ended with 8 people. It started right on time at 12 noon and ended at 3:15, just meet at the statue, they will have your name on the list, no need to get tickets at a location that does not exist. Bring water and a snack in your backpack since there are no breaks except for the bathrooms twice, which was great. Wear sneakers and bring a hat. Plan for that time frame and you will be fine. People dropped off since they had other commitments and it said it would end at 2:30, which it did not. Overall a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed viewing the Book of Kells at Trinity College. Our tour guide provided a lot of historical background on the Book prior to the viewing which gave us insight. The tour of Trinity’s library was a disappointment in that the library was under a cleaning was underway with most of the books missing. The impact of the view was underwhelming.
The view of Molly Malone, I thought, was a total waste of our time as was the view of Dublin Castle. We only gad a distant view of the courtyard and, as I found out, the Castle is not open to visitors. All-in-all, while the guide made the effort to make something out of nothing, this tour was not what I expected and I will apmy travel agent to NOT book this tour in the future.

The Book of Kells and the library are well worth seeing. The video displays were very helpful since the book itself is only open to two pages and is in dim light.
