Enjoy the relaxing 20 minute boat ride out to our amazing sandbar. With your very own Captain and Crew, this ride includes a relaxing moment, with breeze blowing through your hair and the beautiful Caribbean sun to give you the perfect tan. Also viewing the beautiful gem of the Cayman Islands the deep blue sea getting along with this a bonus view of the North side of the Cayman Islands. Next arriving to the famous Stingray Sandbar where you get to interact with the rays playing, feeding and even kiss the rays with having your photographs taken for future memories with our local photographer (not included in the price) for 25- 30 minutes. Then we skip on down to the famous Coral Garden for where you snorkel the tropical coral and its fishes up to 30 minutes. Finally we head on down to the famous Starfish Point Beach spending 15-20 minutes observing and interacting with these beautiful underwater creatures where you will not find nowhere else in the world.

Highly recommend Rowan Water Sports for this tour! We spent about 20-30 minutes at each spot. Our first stop was snorkeling, then Stingray City and last Starfish Point. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each stop. Our captain Robert and crew Pancho and Beecher (?) were GREAT! They were knowledgeable and fun. The pictures they took with the sting rays were great and allowed us to enjoy the experience and purchase the pictures of everyone in our group. We will definitely book a tour with Rowan Water Sports again during our next visit! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We drove to the StarFish Point and had a good time there. We saw sever starfishes before we put our snorkels on. There was a restroom/washroom and an outdoor shower there. A great place to visit while on the Grand Cayman Island.

We enjoyed all 3 stops on this excursion. The boat mates were great about providing instruction and taking photos of everyone (for purchase) during the Stingray encounter. There was a hiccup with our pickup (driver picked up another couple early and forgot us) but he came back and we were able to get to our boat ontime. A must do excursion while in Grand Cayman.

The crew were all great! Each stop along the way gave us plenty of time to enjoy the stingray and starfish. Very patient with everyone on board. Would definitely recommend this tour!

What a fabulous day with our family! We loved every part of the excursion but the stingrays were our favorite! The guides were wonderful and Poncho really took time to talk to us and educate us on Cayman Islands! Just a great experience for us and our teenagers! I will recommend this excursion to anyone I know visiting! Thank you!!

We had a tour booked at 9am from our cruise ship. We were told to arrive by 8:45 for check-in. Check-in area was chaotic, not the company’s fault, but it’s just a tight area with a lot of different companies checking in their guests. Description of the tour says 10-30 people max per boat. There were at least 75-90 people waiting. We were stuck at the port waiting for late arrivals till at least 9:30. Then they took all of us and crammed us into buses. Once we arrived at the dock we were put on a boat with the name “Big Dee’s Excursions”. It looked nothing like the boat on the Rowan webpage and there were at least 40 people onboard. Stingray stop was fun. The tour boat operators were great there but otherwise did not interact with the guests at all.
Next stop was snorkeling. Snorkeling was okay but they did not offer any fins and there was no instruction at all. Several people on our boat couldn’t swim. One woman had a panic attack and they did nothing. Another man got tangled up in his life vest and another passenger had to help him swim to the boat. Boat operators didn’t even seem to notice. We’ve been on lots of snorkeling tours in the Carribean and this was really surprising.
Final stop was Starfish Point. This was really a waste of time. We stopped for 10 minutes and 4 people on our boat got stung by jellyfish (obviously not the tour operator’s fault).
They did offer cold soda and water which was great. We ended up getting back to the port around 1:45 which was much later than we expected so we didn’t have time to do anything else (had to be back on board at 3).
Overall we had a good time but it just felt like they severely overbooked and we were sub-contracted out to another company without any notice. I had done a lot of research on this tour and picked Rowan based on the great reviews. They should have at least been upfront about the fact that they were overbooked and we would be placed with another company.
