The Dubrovnik Cable Car Ride provided amazing views, excellent restaurant at the top of the mountain, and a fortress that provides a history of the 1991-1995 Homeland War. The tour guide provided a fun and informative history of Old Town and walking the City Walls was an amazing and memorable experience that I also highly recommend.

Our tour guide was excellent, and our group was a little smaller than expected because we were there early in the season.
We didn't get to ride the cable car due to high winds, but the tour provided a refund for that part (we rode it the following day when the weather had cleared. It was nice, but not worth 27 euros. If you have a rental car, just drive to the top of the mountain).
While the tour of Old Town was guided, the walking tour of the City Walls was self-paced. Our guild suggested we wait until late afternoon, when the crowds die down, to use our ticket for the City Walls. Allow at least two hours if you want to go completely around the walls. Our walk took longer, because we stopped for drinks at two of the three cafes atop the walls.

Elvis was our guide and he did a great job! The only thing that might have helped make it better, would have been earbuds to hear Elvis when we weren’t at the front of the group.

Our guide Elvis was very nice and friendly. He explained in detail about many things and he was eager to answer our questions. I learned more about the city itself and Croatia's relationship with the adjacent countries, among other things. It was good to be in a small group like this.

The view from the top of the cable car ride was stunning! Great tour and guide. We were able to spend 30 mins at the top. It was a bit of a scorcher. Don’t forget your sunscreen, water and hat.

What an amazing day! We toured the old city streets, walked along the wall, and took a cable car ride to the top for some panoramic views. The fountain near pile gate you could fill water bottles with drinkable water that was so refreshing. Our guide Elvis was a wealth of knowledge and very personable. I highly recommend this tour (and ask for Elvis 😁).

Let me start out by saying, this tour is an absolute must-do if you visit Dubrovnik! The view from the top of the cable car ride is the best view of the Old Town and gives a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Our tour guide, Elvis, was extremely knowledgeable and gave great local and historical facts along the way. The city walls part of the trip is self-guided, but walking the walls gives great eagle eye views of the Old Town with lots of opportunities for neat photos. Be prepared for a pretty good amount of walking, but it is definitely worth it.

Zodar, our tour guide is a native and shared exceptional knowledge.
1. Cable car- lucky our group was scheduled for 9 am. The wait for us was 40 minutes and the line was much longer after. While the wait was longer than I would like, the view was worth it.
2. Old town your (inside city walls) was fascinating with Zodar’s insights. He took us off the main street which was a treat to get away from crowds.
3. City walls- not ideal for anyone with physical limitations. Lots of stairs. It was spectacular to be in top of the city walls to view the city and surrounding area and fort. Amazing that 1,000 people still live inside the walls.
If you have time, stay and enjoy the city shops and restaurants.
